I love my import, but it just can't compete with the sound of that V8 growl. I am drooling over a Coyote or VooDoo forced induction setup and I am going to have to make that happen by Spring. @@PalmBeachDyno Sorry to burst your bubble my friend, but I’m actually 100% correct. The high revving “VooDoo” engine in the GT350 and the GT350R have proven to be extremely unreliable. Just look up “Shelby GT350 Voodoo engine failure” on KZbin, and you’ll see what I mean. …Then go through and add another roughly 275 more horsepower to it, and unfortunately, time will show what I’m talking about.

@@MikeWheeler-n2c It's a very complicated topic as many get this wrong or overexaggerate it. The 350 is a reliable car, the engine can handle 800-900 hp just fine. There are more of them running around than there are failing, which isn't a lot, that's just the truth.

Yet another person who doesn't own one and talking out of their ass. My twin turbo with a gen 2 voodoo setup has 30K miles on it and not a single problem. It does eat about a quart of oil every 1000 miles but that is fully within spec. I'll listen to my tuner over some kid who reads forum posts.

Read between the lines. 93 is suspectable to knock. Ethanol would be much safer but not everyone has E85 pumps.

This is not a sleeper. A sleeper is a car that is fast that people expect to be slow. Everyone expects a Shelby, or Viper or Lamborghini to be fast which is why it is impossible for any fast car to be a sleeper. Twin-turbo a normal pickup truck or a Miata, that is a sleeper. You can see videos of them on KZbin. Cool and fast car, but a really bad title for the video.
