I'm from Chennai, which is even further south than where Hari's parents are from. I was once asked by a visitor from England "What was the name of that temple we visited today?" I said, "You mean Thiruvalluvar Pillai Koyil?" I still remember the look of bewilderment on her face! It's a good thing she never met my classmate Manojkumar Muthukumarappa.
