He was a devoted father of eight kids. Yeah the Simpsons were upholding some truely terrible stereotypes on that show. No wonder this guy was pissed!

I agree with Conan that was well written. I didn't laugh out loud until that checkers line but I was smiling the whole time. Good show. I'd watch a performance again.

It's so ironic that he's on Conan O'Brien because Conan wrote for The Simpsons. But obviously, this was before the documentary, so Conan probably had no idea when Hari was on his show. Hari actually confessed that it's hard for him to get work in showbiz because so many people have work on The Simpsons and then moved on to different places, and they don't want to work with him because he ruined Apu.

Agreed miksedene ... but this is how comedians get big, they come on late night and then blow up if its good. It feels like he did these jokes at home 100 times, then followed his mental script more than just letting it freely flow.

Also scary that people think Ribs can grow back, I mean they are bones, they don't grow back if they're cut off, one of my teachers had a cancer removed from his chest and they had to replace two of his ribs concrete fixtures.

I actually thought it was pretty funny. His material and delivery weren't extremely polished, but the comedy is solid. I don't understand why the crowd was so reluctant when they're practically yowling with laughter with someone like Charlyne Yi.

Even more annoying than this guy, are all the people in the comment section who claim that he was funny and everyone who disagrees hasn't understood his jokes. His jokes aren't difficult to understand and if you think so, it says more about your IQ than about anyone's else. The reason why we haven't laughed is because his jokes aren't funny.

This guy is like a left wing Dennis Miller. He is trying so hard to sound smart, so if anyone says he isn’t funny he can just say, “well you just don’t get it.” Yeah, I got the jokes. They weren’t funny. If you want humor with social commentary, try George Carlin.
