The 206 is also a famous warrior...the legendary Kiowa...the unforgettable scenes of a co-pilot firing his M-16 out an open Kiowa door at tree top level...turning, at speed...must've been a 2/17 AirCav Banshee gettin' som'.....what a bird!

Mark, I grew up climbing around in those mountains, hiking, camping, and hunting and always longed for the ability to see them from that perspective. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. A real pretty flight. I enjoyed a chance to fly a 206BIII after passing a Commercial License course in Bell 47s. What a difference thirty some years of technology makes. When asked by my examiner of a preference for fixed versus rotary winged aircraft, I responded that if the Navy wouldn't allow me to fly F-14s; any Rotor-craft would do.

Beautiful video Mark. I have been through Utah in the summer. You have some great scenery. I live about 2 hours away from the Alberta Rockies. But haven't seen them from the air except from a 747. It's cool to see the mountains from a different perspective than ground level or 35,000 feet.

Wow black helicopters Do you also fly them at night with lots of lights? Built a radio control bell 206 in 1976 and once I learned how to fly it airplanes were no longer as much fun.
