Like many other young couples today, Candice & Clint want it all, and they want it now. They’re both guilty of the typical spending crimes - financing multiple cars, eating out, electronics, entertaining, purchasing home furnishings and over extending themselves on a mortgage they can’t afford. But what sets them apart from other young couples is the sheer amount of debt- $80,000- which they’ve racked up in five short years. Now, the debt is threatening their ability to start a family. Candice feels powerless to stop her husband’s spending. Unless Gail can get fun-loving Clint to focus on what’s really important, these childhood sweethearts could end up apart. -

She was making all the sacrifices, and he was getting all the fun stuff - and that imbalance continued throughout the challenges. She gave up her car, all he gave up was the bike that he never rode anyway. Her extra job was cleaning toilets, his was doing "bad boy" tattoos. I know they can only show so much in a 20-minute format, but I'm surprised Gail didn't even mention that this kind of inequality within a household is a recipe for resentment over the long term.

Also got to keep in mind in the beginning of the video they said the value of his car at that time was estimated around $15k while he owed over $30k. The point was to come up with more money, selling a car that was severely underwater was not the way to do it versus a car and a toy that was paid off. This will eventually get them to sell the other car

Clint wasn’t really a responsible man in the beginning but he looked sincere and made changes, unlike Guy from another episode who gambled, liar, big ego, manipulative and really thought that the challenges is not helpful and not realistic.

I hope this family is doing well. They both love each other and yes, sometimes we do first think later, we are all humans after all. But this couple are ready to work. And I love the way they look at each other 😍I just think that like most of us sometimes we need kick in an ass in right direction

That's cheap bro, especially for what you're getting in return. Someone who will most likely love you, give you motivation in life and probably take care of you once you age. No is 30k 40k still expensive bro???¿¿¿

Why? He makes her happy or is she kidnapped or held against her will? Get it¿ what makes you happy isn't the same for others. Learn that and you'll be better handling situations you don't understand:)
