Mike, if you need to remove the stumps, don't cut the trees down. Hook a cable to the tree about 25 foot up. Then hook it to your larger tractor put some tension on it and dig up the roots with the backhoe. Then pull it over. It makes stump removal a lot easier.

If you take those feed bags and remove the bottom stitching then slit them on one side from bottom to top or vice versa, open them up and they make excellent drop cloths for painting etc. The plastic ones are reusable many times, you already have them so recycle for drop cloths.

It's the Male cicadas singing for a mate for 6 weeks in the summer. They can make some noise when they get going. Look for their exotic skeletons they shed and they burrow back into the ground for up to 17 years before coming back out.

Good morning. We've got deer within 5 yards of the house. House is centered on 40 wooded acres. I put out variety of mineral blocks and corn. They've been upset lately as I'm cutting the wood line back off the house. I washed and greased the rental skidsteer and brushcutter, when I returned it to the yard they looked at me as if I were from another planet. Just trying to do my part. Hi Hunter and girls. Be safe.

We’ve had rain here all but 3 or 4 days in the last month, but that’s tropical living. And the temps were an average high of 87.4 last month with the heat index over 100 most days. Makes for lots and lots of water consumed if doing anything at all outdoors.

Good morning from MidMo. On screened porch listening to birds and OWTM. Melissa looked like the day was a tad warm for sure. Fairly hot and dry as a bone here, with our first in a week 40% chance today, another similar chance next Wednesday, and again next weekend. Many days this spring, the entire 2-week forecast was >30%. I was commiserating with the logger that we couldn’t get it to dry enough for either of us to work on the farm, but one of these days it was going to shut off and forget entirely how to rain. That appears to have happened. He’s finishing up a job that dried out sooner, and should be back on us in a week or so. We scouted and planned these 3 parcels in March 2019, but he couldn’t get into it until October because it was too wet, and he had to pull out in February when the rains started up again. It is what it is. Have a good weekend!

I get deer here at my place daily too in southern Bedford County, PA. Right now, they have been coming around eating the black raspberry bushes and getting in the pond to cool off and eat the grasses growing in and around the pond. I imagine they are also using the pond to cool off because I see the deer go in far enough where only the top of their back and their head is sticking out of the water.

Wildgame makes some quality cameras. I have about 6 of them on our property here in central NC. Our property backs up to the Haw River, and we have harvested some really nice deer. I love your video content, especially all the stuff you do with tractors and chainsaws. Most people have no idea what is involved with maintaining and caring for large tracts of property, but it is a lot of work that never ends. I've been mowing fields and trails, trimming back tree limbs, etc. for the last couple of days in preparation for the Fall deer season. In NC, the deer population in NC is estimated to be well over 1M: we have no shortage of deer here. When will there be a video on cleaning up the pond?

One of the reasons I enjoy your videos. Funny of you, Mike, to point out the Blue Barrel but I get it, sometimes not as important as other things, no harm no foul. One can see the great amount of Pride you Morgans Have for your "little piece of Heaven". Keep up the great work and know that I sure enjoy you sharing the wonders of your surroundings. Cant wait to see your Project build soon. So many things to enjoy, thanks as always Kevin Gerlach from Oregon. PS, love how the Mini Cabin looks and is progressing, the Door is GREAT!
