First round of updates, improvements and maintenance on my 1984 M635.

Very cool. I still think the 79 blue 635 was and is the best looking. By far. The perfect color combo and pristine new paint. I imagine that it being an E12 would make it quite difficult to get parts for down the road, but you kind of did rebuild most of the suspension. I really hate the new owner. I want to steal it!

Paint looks awesome the Yasin. Maybe you should do a video of building and welding the exhaust for the M635. Looks like either the selector shaft seal or the output shaft seal is leaking there.

Thank-you Dave!! I'll keep an eye on the trans and possible source of the leak. I missed the opportunity to shoot a video when we built the exhaust but did snap some cool pictures along the way, its shared on Big Coupe on my M635 revival thread.

Great ! I was planning to change the exhaust on my 1985 M635CSi ( totally original from Germany, not federalised at all ), but I was not sure what system I wanted to use to achieve the best sound...So I will be watching your progress and end result ! Can you also post descriptive step by step videos when you replace things on the car, like the short shifter, the guibo, etc,etc...Thanks !

Yes, I still have the 560SEC, I've owned it now for just under 10-years. Its tucked away in the garage and doesn't get drive too much, but I certainly enjoy driving it when I do!
