I see many people commenting about how he is making the animal suffer by using only a .22LR instead of something higher than that. I think I can give an overall explanation here for clarification. Based on his replies in some of his previous videos, he said that these hunting are happening in a private estate where they were hired for hunting to control damages to their crops/property. And since it is located only a few hundred yards away from a neighborhood they have restrictions to use .22 LR considering safety and noise pollution. And since these animals were declared as invading pests by their government they are in the process of cleaning them or controlling their population by hunting. Yes of course these are used for their meat - soaked in ice baths, vacuum sealed, frozen and shared among their community for free which is considered as one of the good gestures and is very much appreciated by them. Above all they maintain dignity and respect for the animal while and after hunting them down hence almost all of their parts are consumed while reducing wastage - they believe in respecting the animal which lost its life to feed the hungry. Even their bones are roasted and simmered for 8hrs which makes a wonderful collagen rich broth. The quality and taste of their meat depends on the season and what they feed on but most of them are as equal or even better than the commercial pork sold in town.

I've been watching your videos this afternoon. I'm don't care for hunting myself, but enjoy watching hunting videos. I know a few hunters where I live who would love to have the looser regulations on hog hunting that you have. Have you ever come close to accidentally shooting Cinderella?

The .22 LR is capable of taking down hogs. Shot placement is critical. If you watch other hog hunting videos, you will see hogs go down & thrash after a head or spinal cord shot with a much more "lethal" caliber. This phenomenon is known as STANKY LEG

That neighbor's dog should really be leashed to stay on their property. They must realize you are shooting hogs, they are stupid for not keeping their dog safely off your land.
@djdemondude6593

I agree with you. If the dog comes running up as the trigger is being squeezed then the neighbors that own this dog would be madder than hell. And it would be their fault for not keeping their dog on their land.

No suffering at all. The first shot turned his brain into oatmeal. All that thrashing around is the spinal cord and brain stem reacting to the sudden loss of input.
