Holy crap thats a BEAST of a unit !!! Dont think I have a wall big enough to fit that bad boy on....and they are all brick walls too. I have a LG TV at the moment but before that Ive had Samsungs before that and the packaging was second to none. GT7 looked amazing on that display, Im after a Sonos soundbar for my LG in the living room. Thanks for the video, Mike 🙂

I’m trying to get my picture settings, sharp. I have a HD/4K 85’ only time I’ve seen it’s so perfectly clear in 4K was when the Super Bowl was on, and I had to watch it on that channel.

@Matthew Harrup So far most TV shows and movies cover the entire screen. When I use Plex to watch movies sometimes I get the black bars at the top and bottom but it's minimal. The upscaling to 4k is pretty awesome. Great TV for a budget 85 inche 4K TV. Thank you for watching and if you subscribed thank you as well.

How important is refresh rate? I've always heard you should get at least 120. I don't do any gaming. But I watch alot of football and motion isn't as smooth as I would like. Especially when they are scrolling info (scores, etc) AT the bottom of the screen. Recommendations would be appreciated if you have some. Thanks again. You've been one of the most, if not the most, helpful youtubers. Most don't even answer a question.

Hey Dave, this TV is native 60 refresh rate but has auto 120 so some situations like PS5 gaming hit 120 but with football it will probably be 60. I've had this TV for 30 days and no issues with the picture. However if you tend to notice the minor details then look at the Sansung 8000 series. They are all 120 and higher. I bought this tv and it broke during shipping. Cracked across the bottom. I took it back to our local sams club and all they had in stock was a 75 inch. I got the 75 inch. The 85 inch feels thinner and cheaper than the 75 inch in my opinion.

Hey man thank you for the video. I'm thinking of buying the same type of TV but I just want to know have you compared it against OLED. I know that the oled Is more expensive but is it really worth the extra money because I think I'm not so fussy with the colours that much and I don't game with it it'll be good to know your thoughts thank you

For the price point and since your not gaming on it and you seen to be ok with the colors not being as bright as other higher end TVs this model should work great! It's even cheaper now than 5 months ago!

Cool TV. I never understood wall mounting unless it's the only way like a bathroom TV. I like them so much better on the stands and I can use the TV stand for all my wifi, charging and electrical stuff. I like my tv at eye level when im sitting down. I dont like looking up. Every wall tv seems about a foot or so too high for me. Also, it does so much damage to the walls. I don't mean to knock ur style, just curious of the thought process. I will say that Samsung makes the best TV's. I've had LG, Song & Vizio. Nothing compares to Samsung in my opinion. Glad it has Bluetooth so it can be controlled with Alexa. That's a must for me.

Yes the wall mounts do leave large holes in the drywall. I repaired the drywall holes and painted over it off camera. It looks good. I prefer wall mounting my TVs like a picture. It's a clean look. Either way is good though. I agree Samsung makes the best TVs!! I have 2 LGs and I don't like them at all. I'm going to sell them or give them away. Thank you for watching I really appreciate it.

The DU7200 is a 2024 model and the TU700D is a 2020 model. The DU7200 is a better TV in terms of color gamut. Both TVs have 60Hz refresh rate and 4k upscaling. I would buy the DU7200 because it has newer technology.

Curious as to the best soundbar system to use with this? Ive been on the fence about this tv but i want a really awesome sounding system thats also booming as i watch alot of movies and game quite a bit. I also just need something that's plug and play. Last suround i had was back in 2000 and it was a 5 speaker +sub Pioneer that was great to watch movies on. Never had a soundbar.

Samsung makes a good soundbar and Sony as well. It just depends on which brand you prefer. I would go with Samsung since you have a Samsung TV.

Wiring the HDMI? Use the HDMI ARC for your streaming box or cable box.

First off as an electrician I always try to persuade people not to put TVs above the fireplace because of the viewing angle. I would never do that myself. Second, you intentionally put a fake fireplace under the TV to have the TV higher. I stopped watching real quick. Common sense is not so common.
