Very few videos on KZbin show the difference in light visible to humans. Thank you..

Thanks, this was one of the most helpful videos on this subject I've seen. Going for the 850Nm as a beginner nightvisionista. 😅

hello, I have a question: and what happens if I put a 940 extra light for my 850 nm night vision monocular/binocular camera? can the image be clearer or the camera will not "see" it due to different sensors? so are there 850 and 940 optimized IR cameras or the 850 nm camera can also "see" the 940 extra (or maybe changed and with no 850 light at all) light? thanks

Great video, big help. My question is I already bought 2 IR security light rings, when I order them I did not know about the difference between to two. Is there anyway to tell if I have the 850nm or the 940nm? I ready hate to make my light and it be the one that can be seen with the naked eye. Thanks for any help!

850nm glows red in darkness. 940 is completely invisible.
