Can I just say how much I appreciate how you present things. So many guntubers are so damn hyperbolic or excitable. This feels a bit like Steve from Brownells, tells me what I want to know in an acceptable amount of time and doesn't annoy me, honestly the highest praise I can give for review type videos. Also thank you for not being pedantic

Thank you for this review. I have been looking at the MDT LSS-Gen 2 chassis for my Howa stainless barrelled action in .223. However, pricing is a bit beyond my budget. I am now considering the KRG instead. Other reviews I have seen only seem to lightly skim over the chassis and not really fill me with confidence in purchasing one. Yours went into far more detail which I appreciated. Cheers from Australia.

Would you consider this to be a good stock to split time between hunting and long range target practice/PRS competition? Need to build a hunting rifle, but would like it to do double duty. This seems to be lighter than a lot of Mcmillian s like the a5, Manners and Grayboe stocks, well priced, more traditional profile. Maybe it would be a good candidate to be a hunting rig that can occasionally do double duty.

+The Outdoor Dude Test mule. It gets swapped around pretty often and that height works on a lot of chassis. With an adjustable comb it is a non-issue.

Honestly, you should get rid of the notion that scopes need to be as low as possible. There's nothing inherently advantageous other than aesthetics or streamlining for hunting. Mounting it high gives you more clearance for cant when shooting extreme ranges (200 MOA or adjustable bases). I certainly try to get as low as possible, but it's only for looks.
