No clue how John doesn't have at least 175,000k+ subs. This channel is awesome, production quality is very good, and he is an extremely experienced, and knowledgeable man with no perceived 'douchey or cockiness' in his presentations. Keep doing what you're doing Mr McQuay.

Just got myself a second oryx chassis have on two howas a 20" heavy barrelled mini action in .223 and the newest a 26" semi heavy barrelled 6.5cm they r great. Mlok rail is handy both will have qd mount one m lok bipod by mapul and the other harris style bipod mounted to a mlok sling swivel stud. They both look fantastic and shoot the same one is od green plastis and the other is black which looks better than i thought it would.

I recently bought an Oryx. I ordered a long action and was sent a short action. Once they came back to work on the Monday after I got it they shipped the *correct* item to me. It definitely solved the issue my Hogue stock was causing and was easy to install, but it leaves a *LOT* to be desired in the way of recoil absorption. I have a .300 win mag, with the Hogue it replaced, I could shoot all day with no issues. With the Oryx, after about 10-12 rounds my shoulder was starting to bruise. Once I figure out what to do about that recoil problem I'm sure it'll do more than what I wanted it to do, which is shoot sub MOA at 100 yards.

Just another great looking product that makes me wish that I had waited a year - instead of what I chose. I went with a Brownells BRN-1/MDT LSS-XL Gen1 for the Remington 700 with a carbine tube interface that requires a fixed stock adapter for my Magpul PRS Gen1. Brownells doesn't say which interface it uses but I should have called first. The fixed stock adapter adds at least 1 inch to Length of pull and 1 additional inch of Eye Relief required for optics. I need scopes with 4.0 - 4.5 inches of Eye Relief to shoot comfortably. I'll buy an ORYX in OD Green for my 6.5 Grendel Howa Mini-action whenever someone makes reliable 10+ round magazines for it because the Legacy Sports International/ ATI Ammo Boost 5 round magazines just aren't reliable. The ORYX looks like the best AICS $400 and under aftermarket chassis/stock one can buy. Step up to the plate Magpul, XLR, Bell and Carlson, Choate, Archangel Manufacturing, Mcree Precision, GRS, Hogue, ATI, Tapco, etc. (

Your going to need the thumb wheels for the comb....or take a hex with you everywhere. You can't take the bolt out without it. The mag issue i understand except on stages that require a mag change because they are low in target count but difficult shots. Locally they require a mag change every once in a while. Beautiful chassis for the cash though. Ill call them next week to get one. Yahh a JP chassis, I may have to sell my lear jet to buy that one.

Hey John, love the channel. I find myself coming back all the time to watch hours of content.. Just can't seem to stay away. As for the Glock 48, I get what you're saying. If I was American I'd definitely just carry a 19 myself. One of the Glock reps here in Canada basically straight up said it was designed for Canada. It's the first Glock that doesn't need any modification to meet our goofy laws. We need 105mm barrel, so they made it 106mm. We need 10 rounds, and got exactly that. I have a few full frame Glocks, but even those come factory with the single stack 10 mags. Lots of hype here for the 48, but I agree 100% with you on the lack of interest for the American market.

I have to ask why the we are forced to use Remington safety levers, but there is no one making use of the AR style safety. If you're going to have use an ar style grip we need/want an ar style safety lever. Reaching over or losing grip to drop the lever is weird and unnatural. I'd prefer to keep control of the fire arm with the "strong hand" and be able to disengage the safety without moving my hand from the ready/shooting position. This isn't ideally a quick response weapon system, but why keep making the same thing essentially for decades when the market has evolved?
@mitchellcrumpton39924 жыл бұрын
Use your index finger to push the safety forward. Easy as that.
@hunterromano55624 жыл бұрын
@@mitchellcrumpton3992 honestly I just don't purchase ar themed chassis/stocks because of the stock safety placement. Itt stick with the old thumb over until someone makes one.
