This 2008 Audi TT spent time with one owner in Washington State before its recent acquisition by the selling dealer. The car is finished in silver over black and red leather upholstery, and it is powered by a 3.2-liter V6 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive. Additional equipment includes the Audi Exclusive Line Package, 19″ alloy wheels, adaptive bi-xenon headlights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, power-adjustable and heated front seats, a Bose sound system, navigation, and automatic climate control.

Wow! that is one fine, unmolested example of a TT. I upgraded from a blue 2008 VW R32 (VR6) to my current white 2010 TTS (2L, 4 cyl., Turbo) in Dec 2015. I fell in love with the VR6's exhaust note in that R32. It was music to my ears. While I don't regret going with the much better looking TTS, with it's much more fuel efficient engine setup, I do miss the Wookie growl of that VR6--which sounds even better in the R32 than the TT--even though they were essentially the same engine. Whoever has the winning bid is going to get one helluva great car! Both my R32 and my TTS were very reliable cars--as long as I didn't bring it to the VW dealership in my small city. Good luck!

@@saivillaq I bought the car with many kilometers, as a precaution I changed the distribution chains at 190k kilometers because I heard some noise. however the engine is good and does not consume any oil.

I do not get how ANYONE can own this car and NOT drive the thing everywhere they go? My 05 3.2 has been my daily driver for 17 years.

I have recently bought the same car with an immaculate exterior condition (a few minor interior imperfections) that has 118 000 kms on it. They hold up well if garaged & serviced properly. Only paid $11K AUS. Not much money for a lot of car. IMHO they need a stiffer rear sway bar to dial out the understeer and high quality performance tyres to make the most of the grip. Also an exhaust modification (to taste) to hear more of the VR6 engine note.

Audi engineered the car with understeer on purpose. It makes the stability control system more effective and drivers’ natural tendency is to take corners slightly slower when a car understeers, which makes them safer. Far less likely to get wrapped sideways around a tree like cars with oversteer so often do. I drove the 07 car in the Audi driving school after I bought my 2005 3.2 SLine Quattro DSG. And they went over steering and braking theory in pretty deep detail as to why the car handles the way it does. It’s all on purpose. As a result I don’t think it would be wise to dial out the understeer. My 2005 SLine came with 18” Z rated tires that are plenty sticky. I took an unexpected series of 100 plus degree turns in mine starting at around 120 mph with only a second or two to brake between turns, and the car held the turn just fine. As to the exhaust note. I personally love the 3.2 exhaust note just as it is. In normal drive mode letting it shift itself it’s very understated and elegant. Present but not drawing too much attention to itself. And in Sport mode or using the paddle shifters it’s a very satisfying growl, but not so loud to be annoying to everyone else on the street. I love how dropping two gears will surprise people with its suddenly more aggressive sound. The MkII cars are lighter than my Mk I and noticeably quicker, tho. Another thing I like about the 3.2 with DSG is that in drive mode it will shift into 6th gear at 35 mph. Its low end torque means it’s always in a pretty high gear at every cruising speed, keeping revs low. Mine gets 30 mpg.

It's a very nice-looking car, but I'd be afraid of a car of this age with that few miles. Seals and rubber dry up just sitting. They are going to leak.
