Alright, a little necrothreading here but I'm coming up here to say that I very much prefer incandescent lights on this machine. The one thing LEDs never seem to recreate properly is the subtle time it takes for an incandescent to power on and off, which I think is most notable in the backglass spiral animation, and the play field insert animation in the attract modes. They make the lights PULSE rather than switch on and off. That ease cannot be recreated.

This era of system 80's child not be beat. Still would like to own a Spirit. The blue led makes this machine, radically the infinity lighting in the back glass. I think it's the the nicest one..So far.

I think white works better for the infinity mirror effect, but the LEDs look better overall on most of the older games. Some of the older games don't look as good with the ultra-mega bright LEDs.

It stole $.50 from me faster than any machine had ever stolen $.25 from me. And it forever introduced us to more expensive gameplay! (But now that 30+ years has gone by, I think I can forgive it. I do enjoy it very much now. This one looks FANTASTIC! Good job, guys. I'm sure the owner was very pleased. The color-changers rock!) (p.s. I don't believe it was actually based on the movie, there's no tie-in to any characters/robots/spaceships from the film - maybe Gottlieb's release attempted to benefit from what they thought would be a box-office hit?)

Superb restoration. Visually stunning. You guys do awesome work. I am intrigued by this pin to the point I almost want to own one, but I think the constant play sound effects would drive me nuts! The robotic synth voice is awesome though, even possibly better than, dare I say it, the Pinbot robot voice ;)

Have you seen any Black Holes with a brownish gold looking spiral to the lower playfield? I don't know why but in a video game version of this table it's a brownish gold color and not silver.

TNT Amusements Inc I'm guessing he's referring to the chase lights in the back box. The one with the regular bulbs chases in a smooth motion. The one with the Leds seems to blink twice on some bulbs, making it look stuttery.

I am averse to using LED lamps in my pins but I did put warm LED bulbs in my BH under the pf plastics and in the BG about 7 or 8 years ago, agree 44s thru the whole machine do not do it justice.

Todd how about sell the cab you have with the head and playfeild and sell it to somebody who has the time to make the other half of the harness bam working game then i n five years trades it in and buys a fun house that's warn down to the bear wood and repeat the cycle in another five years. Oh did I say they will repaint the playfeild using only the colors red blue and yellow and do it with a 2x4 that's chard. Lastly. Nice job that black hole is super nice and is that the joker poker we sold you at york
