87 mercedes 300D powerseat switch fix

I use a crowbar for this operation. I save the proper tools (some home made) for my chevy. Slightly. Wait, let me see the KZbin DIY I'll be right back and what not...Dope, to much dope.

im not sure.main thing i did was focus on cleaning the contact points they get dirty over time. so far that is all i can thing . i will try and look into that and see if i figure anything out on that

@@motorsportfactory thank you for replying... The thing is I somehow fixed the electric seats switches but the car suffers from parasitic drain of like 4amps even if the key is off... Traced it to fuse C in the fuse box under the bonnet

I have issues with mine. It reclines but the seat wont move forward or backward, also the headrest wont go up and down. Would this fix it? Thanks

yeah what happens is the contacts with the spring and bearings in it tend to corrode over time and need to be cleaned. i dont know if there is a upgrade to this but now that i think bout it i wanna look into it. this should fix this . if not look at relays and fues
