That's a great looking wreath! I never thought of using multiple types of greens in one wreath. I am not sure your clamp is working properly, though. We rarely have to use a hammer- it sure would slow the process down having to hammer most of the clamps, and time is money LOL
@WoodsTreeFarm4 жыл бұрын
I agree. I think the clamp is mounted too low. Its bolted to the underside of the 3/4" benchtop. I may mount it above the bench to see how that changes things.

@@WoodsTreeFarm You might want to use 7/16 for your table top. Even so, from time to time you may need to hammer the clips. They do have a no hammer style of machine and maybe that is the style that DeHaven has. We personally find that the no hammer machine makes a flatter looking wreath and though we have one, rarely do we use it. Time into a wreath is always a struggle for us as well but we adjust by paying so much for each wreath made and adding more machines. I figure a wreath maker should be able to put together 15 10" wreaths an hour without having to work very hard at it. I have seen operations where they have multiple people making the bundles which are passed to the wreath maker and they can do 60 - 70 an hour on an air operated machine. One more hint I would pass on is to try to learn better placement so you are not trimming at the end. Just another time consuming process that only makes waste which also needs to be dealt with. Most wreath making competitions will disqualify you if they can see cut ends on a wreath.
