タイトル通り　凄いねじれですねぇ・・・これだけ大きな親分でも苦労の絶え間が無かったのでしょうねぇ　次の世代で又綺麗なピンクの花とオレンジがかった葉のコンビネーションで楽しませてほしいです。山中の群れをなす杉に負けじと堂々と立つ孤高の親分山桜　イメージできますねぇ・・・サクラ材は硬く緻密で家具とか和菓子の木型にも使われるんですよねぇ。随分前ですが気に入ったサクラ材の椅子を見つけたんですが・・・懐と相談で諦めたんです。桜と言うと私の記憶はそれなんですが、私はねじれてはいませんよ（笑）

雨風に耐えて育った山桜素晴らしい外から見るだけでも景色👍が想像できますね。太く長くそれにねじれ、曳く🎵作業に目が点でした。

I think I would’ve been tempted to peel the bark and use the log as a pillar instead of cutting it up…the twists were gorgeous!

元来、桜は素性がいいはずですよね。（節は有っても）捻じれ方を見ると藤つるに絡まれたのでしょうかね？見事な杢目に変身ですね

Lucky find with a beautiful tree like that. Great team work. I turn bowls on a lathe and never see that pretty wood. It has lots of character. Perfect cuts.

I could be wrong but this doesn't look like cherry tree wood to me looks more like dawn redwood with the way the trunk is twisted and the texture of the bark.

♪久し～振り～に（島倉千代子）観に来ました。土手に植わってる桜の木は良く捻れてますよね。スポーツマンの隆々とした筋肉の様に凹凸が有って尚且つ　反時計回りに。川の風で幼木期から耐える方法で育つからでしょうか　と思っています。 PS　良いね！～～～　今日も安全ヘルメットを！！！。

We have a lot of soft Maple trees that have that twisted look.

I like walking through the woods finding 6cm saplings with vines wrapped around them. I cut them 1.5 m long and carve on the vines to make them look like snakes and epoxy the finished item to make walking sticks.

On the first cut , why not cut the whole edge off and not juss a tiny piece for the first cut , I always see that on sawmill videos , a lil piece first ?

Thank you for your comment☆(*^_^*) Certainly, when you look at it, you wonder. The wood from the edges has its uses. It is more efficient overall to cut the lumber into smaller pieces during the initial sawing process than to cut the lumber into smaller pieces later.(*^_^*)

I use these kind of cuts to carve shallow bowls and plates. The natural edges give them all unique looks.

こんにちは😃 たくさんの製材されているのを拝見させて頂いています。ご夫婦仲いいのがいつ見ても羨ましい限りです。ところで、私の趣味なんですがトラックの板バネでナイフや包丁を作っています。握り手には木の端材などを使っていますが、この製材の最初を見て、ねじれ山桜の皮とかは握り手にはちょうどいいのではと思った次第です。宜しければ譲っていただけると嬉しいです。他に何かあれば嬉しく思います。
