I miss the young legend. Let me say this .I met him when they touched down in Saginaw Mi. That concerts was a mind blowing experience for me a 15 year old teen. Two hours before the concert me and friends met him and others of the Parlia Funkadelic .Glen walking back stage with guitar in hand killing the guitar and showing his gift 1977. God bless Glen 🙏

Not only did this performance should've gotten numeros of Grammys but it should've also been awarded an Oscar because this is something that even the best screen play writers in Hollywood couldn't even began to write a script for. Glad I grew up at that same time. We went to SHOWS!!!! Musicians, smoke, crowd participation. Not pre-recorded tracks and a turntable. The Capital Center had P-Funk, Maze, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Michael Jackson, Chuck Brown, Trouble Funk, Rick James, Cameo and many more. That is why are kids are always mining our records.The last great period of R&B.

Another great Swing Down. Uniquely dreamy and sad (and truly tragic, given Glenn's worsening condition), but still bringing the soul and funk. Another reminder of Glenn's incredible talent. @sdwalm it's ironic that even though my own father is a big music lover and though we're from the same hometown as George & Funkadelic he said could never get into Parliament's music..but I love it !!!

Also, it's unfortunate there are so few good examples of Glenn's guitar playing, but on this one, he shows he can bring the funk as good as anyone. That guitar lick is HOT.

Glen makes me shiver!!!! cause i can't resist that much soul!too good for our hearts! more people should know about glen!!! i was born in the 87 so i've been a funkateer since i see for first time the MSC dvd, and he was the first think i noticed about! thanx for posting this vid!
