They also released that recording later and it's that performance (of Swing Down, Sweet Chariot) that you see all over KZbin (and at 8:30 in this video).

I loved Glen for a long time from a far. He had one of the best voice ever. He was the Sam Cooke of the funk. To me Parliment was not the same when he left. I was a child in the 70's and my brother bought a George Clinton album in our house and I was never the same. I studied those albums like books. They were stars in my world. I don't they realized what enjoyment and knowledge they bought to me in the Living Room. Every one on stage had a place and time of greatness. Glenn I never been more inspired by a voice like yours. It was simply too rich, too wise, too soulful, and too moving for someone so young. Paired with his guitar playing and energy, and he really did appear to be an extraterrestrial brotha!
