Features: the 8-Bitdo ultimate Bluetooth has hall effect sensors which will never get stick drift. You can set it to have like 0 dead zone and aiming feels insanely good

That's how I have mine set up! Zero deadzone mode. Feels amazing because you can make very fine micro-adjustments in games then.

Why would anyone aim with a stick and not a gyro mouse seriousy I haven't aimed with a stick since 2006

I use ReWASD, and have set up custom sensitivity curves and deadzones especially for this controller for use when mapping the mouse to the right stick, and after weeks of tinkering it feels absolutely phenomenal, it feels significantly better than any native controller support I've ever used. Even games with controller support, I map the right stick to the mouse... I've published my setup to reWASD but they're taking forever to verify it :(

Production quality was nice but I'm not sure I agree with giving the feature section win to the DS5. I do love the DS5, but it seemed like you just gave that section away due to it being usable on more platforms, is a questionable choice imo. The Ultimate has additional buttons and is highly programmable, and in my opinion is more versatile. Being able to just flip a switch to go from BT to 2.4 makes it easy to jump between Switch and PC without fiddling with Bluetooth pairing every time like you would have to do with the DS5. Plus the dock being included definitely counts in it's favor, as well as the much much longer battery life. Just my 2c but I don't think the DS5 is a clear winner here at all. Price is the same, comfort is subjective, and in my opinion the features of the Ultimate outweigh the DS5.

I guess I probably could’ve gave the section a tie. To me not having extra buttons is doable. If the Dual Sense 5 had extra buttons that would’ve been great. But since it doesn’t I’m not mad about it. I just feel like a more versatile controller is better for a gamer who plays on multiple platforms. The ultimate controller is nice but I feel like you get more for your money with the dual sense 5

I'm confuse. I thought DS5 cant be use on xbox and switch without a special dongle? Why say that the DS5 wins in compatibility when you also need extra to play it on other platforms like you said at 0:48

Can I connect two controllers via Bluetooth in 8bitdo Ultimate Controller? Do you have this support? Because from what I saw in the app on the computer in your video, it only shows the option of configuring a control.

@@Marko-ij4vy Nintendo Pro controller works fine on steam with full support, but there is no linear trigger, so it's not perfect for playing games like Horizon 4 or 5 in which trigger acted as throttle. What also needs to consider is HD rumble is far different from rotor rumble. If you could tolerate these cons, Pro controller will do. Another thing to mention is you need to pair pro controller to pc or switch again if you wanna change the platform, which bothers me a lot. Pro controller could only support one type of console at one time. You may consider buying 8BitDo SN30pro+ or Pro2 instead. I've got the 8BitDo Ultimate BT one and I returned it. I would like to say, I didn't like the feel when holding it in my hands. Bumper buttons are hard to press, and the Ultimate holds smaller than Pro controller and the Xbox controller. If you have big hands, I wouldn't recommend it.

@@thelionking2000cn I know pro controller works on pc(xbox controller can also work on switch with 8bitdo adapter) but as you mentioned you have to pair everytime you switch between platforms which can be pain in the ass. The sn 30 pro is good that you can easily switch between platforms without having to resync but Im not a fan of playstation style layout. While I can see prefering sn30 pro for any game where I use dpad (retro games,2d games,fighting games etc.) but most of the games I play are 3d games and I prefer xbox style layout for those types of games where left stick is on top rather than bottom. This is why I was considering 8bitdo ultimate because it has all of those. Can switch between 2 platforms (pc,switch) without having to pair everytime,has xbox style layout. But if its uncomfortable then I probably wont get it.

I've got the 8BitDo Ultimate BT controller, I would like to say, it has nothing compares to the pro controller or the xbox series controller. As for I don't have a DualSense 5 controller, I‘ll keep my opinion.

@@Fear_BFG why not just buy the xbox series controller? and if you do play a lot of shooting games, you could consider buying a Hall joystick one, but for now, the linearity of Hall joystick is not as good as ALPS one.

I like the video but I feel like you missed a lot of points about the 8Bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth controller that make it great and better than the DualSense imo. - The hall effect sensor thumbstick are insanely accurate with no deadzone and will never drift. - It has the best d-pad you can get on a modern controller. - 22 hour battery life so it'll last around 3-4x longer than the DualSense. - The switch on the back allows you to go seamlessly from PC to Nintendo Switch and back with just the flip of a switch. - It comes with it's own charging dock in the box that can also double as your 2.4GHz PC dongle. - Definitely subjective point but I personally prefer the feel of the 8Bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth controller in my hands over the DualSense. The DualSense is just a bit too wide and the sticks are too far away from the triggers causing my hands to cramp in racing games and shooters.

I mean those are some great points but at the same time in my opinion I feel like a controller that can be used on multiple platforms is just hard to beat. I definitely would’ve given the ultimate controller the win if they made it available across all platforms like they did with the wired version of this controller. I definitely would’ve payed more for that. But you’re not wrong with those points you made.

@@senjucam just bought ultimate bluetooth version i can connect the gamepad to windows as X-input or D-input to enable the gyro with 2.4ghz dongle. compatible with steam deck and linux in general, compatible with iOS and android, and of course switch. i think it's multiplatform enough for me xD

8bitdo = quality Dualsense = cheap I'm on my third Dualsense since launch, they are stick drift, R2 spring brokes. If you open one up, plastic inisde of it breaks because it is cheap and fatigue makes them break. I have old controllers like f310, f710, Xbox One, 8bitdo sn30 pro+ etc. I've open their inside and none of them broke,crumble on me. If you open inside of any 8bitdo you know it is high quality and repairable not like Dualsense. I really hope one day 8bitdo Dualsense replacement, I don't care adaptive triggers or haptic gimmicks. I want a solid controller that atleast last 3 years.
