A TRUE GEM OF A HORROR GAME.. | Shipwrecked 64 (Full Game + Endings)

Welcome to a game called Shipwrecked 64, this was a game I happened to miss initially but WOW was I absolutely blown away by the experience it offered. It's a simple game on the surface, but underneath an incredible rabbit hole filled with mysteries and all kinds of secrets. This video took over 7 hours to record and 3 days to edit. This is the biggest project I have ever worked on for the channel. Enjoy!!

It gives me a lot of hope when I feel most horror movies and games are pretty bad as of late.

So glad you played this! One thing I wanna mention that seemed to confuse you though - Nothing in the game is entirely paranormal or an “entity.” The dwellers and all the secrets and scary things were programmed and put into the game by Connor as an elaborate exposè of Broadside Animation and their Starling Project. From what I remember, the team worked so hard on the game just to essentially be told it wasn’t good enough by Mark who took away funds from the project. This was essentially Connor’s final act of revenge before taking his own life.

There's a huge problem of course with exposing Broadside like this; there's a good chance that people are gonna see the game as just an edgy horror story and assume everything in it wasn't real. I mean it's definitely gonna be an uphill battle to sell _"this company is _*_raising actual zombies"_* as the unvarnished truth.

Starlings have been shown to be able to influence technology, actually!! ^^ I recommend watching the rest of the Broadside Beach series! ^^ Even though they're getting remade they're very useful and still have quite a bit of still canon stuff in them!! :33 The game could've been a mix of both programming and Starling influence! :ooo I have my doubts Connor could program living sentient characters but not create a Beaverscratch to English translator, y'know? ^^ Plus that one screen in the April Fools update, once you go through the door after Duncan's area that's next to Stumbler's tape with him and Wulf..showing Howlz next to a house..a beating heart, THE beating heart of the island..just below his feet..under the very ground he's standing on..I have this distinct feeling the game characters are tangled in the mess with the Starlings..somehow, in some way, y'know? :) Though I could be wrong about that, though ^^' Ether way, there's certainly a bunch of stuff going on we don't know yet, and I'm super excited to find out!! >:DDD

@@AdaminTranzit Nooo way?! I never pieced that together! I fully believed the only indications to Connor in the game at all was 1. Making Bucky jump and 2. That video ending you could get in the 1st demo I believe of someone simply throwing themselves off a house. That’s actually so weird, but I think about it more, Wulf’s mannerisms, his knowledge. It was HIM writing about all the layers and the codes and such, and the only one who knew about it WAS Connor because HE made the layers to expose broadside. My mind has been blown.

Beaverscratch cipher is pretty neat... 1:25:00+ ... the first two words "I MISS" being "J NJTT" which means they all went up a letter... but then there's KVDL so if M is N and N is M... and K is L, then L is K... So I believe that this one has to do with A/B, C/D, E/F, G/H, etc which means that "Hppc kvdl eqjfme" would read "Good luck friend". Yep, they’re all shifted one letter one way or the other, but specifically in pairs, so AB CD EF, etc. Took me forever to realize they were paired up, and while I was able to decode stuff by just knowing it was shifting one to either side, it took forever.

This game has so much lore, I really like this game, it has so much creepy stuff hidden inside of it! You could technically complete this game in 20 minutes, and miss all of the lore. The way it's hiding files under so many puzzles and it gives you occasionally some website with hints and "codebreaker" is really interesting and unique! I really enjoyed watching this, I might play it myself sometime. Thanks Ryan!

Squeaks has said that he no longer considers the Broadside Beach videos to be canon and he wants to distance the story from them. While they might shed a bit of light on the deeper stuff, a lot of the details aren’t canon anymore, and it’s possible Squeaks will expand the series with new videos or even another game. Apparently he wasn’t too proud of his Broadside Beach videos.

You have skipped few secrets but one of the secrets reveals that BUCKY IS NOT CONNOR, its chief wulf actually!! The chief wulfs actual name is Connor and i doubt that's a coincidence lol Bucky was just someone called Brandon just like the rest they worked in the studio. A LOT of the backstory is on Wikipedia for the game actually! That is where I found most of the info (and few secrets you missed). also im sure J.P that blue dog looking character ws vandal, very similar in color and looks, besides just like with others when they become starlings their names changed, thought Connor was NOT turned into a starling from what I remember, or if he was he wasnt a threat in the game again just beign chief wulf.

Also, the people being stalked by person in the Bucky suit couldn’t hide from him, eventually being killed and made into starlings themselves.

I love Shipwrecked and all Shipwrecked content so much. I do have to say though that the game audio is a bit too loud in this. I don’t usually have this issue watching this game so I’m not sure what audio mixing they had. It’s hard to hear Ryan at some points as well. Hope that they managed to see this issue and fixed it in the present day :)

There's an analog horror series called Broadside Brach by the creator of the game that really explains a LOT of what you see throughout the game, It really ties things together and you should definitely watch it!!

My understanding of who the starlings are is that the guy in the bucky suit basically got crazy off drugs and started killing everyone only to die of overdose himself, and they all got resurrected by the nulla terra, ie the living mass below the titular broadside beach park. so the starlings are animalistic zombies of dead employees. i also understood that the broadside beach park was under some HEAVY rumours, there is a lot of people who saw weird stuff behind the scenes, including the starlings themselves, its no surprise to me that the one dev making a game for the company discovered all this. plus there was the vandal being a nuisance to the company. and then theres the deal with the husk and the vandal being the living leftovers of ther 4 dead employees that made the starling quatet and broadside beach/studiogrounds as a whole, all of that is not learnt through the game. i get the feeling the game is meant to be totally in universe, as it doesn't tell a story the way fnaf does. the game feels like a compilation found footage leaking through a wip n64 game, madly put together by devs at the end of their rope. i can't blame the final game for not having all of the details to understand whats going on. i don't wanna be negative about it but i undertsand your confusion as i was confused myself. thrilled and enjoying it all, but confused.

This legit might be the longest story I have ever wrote, this took me 5 and a half hours so if you read it all I would sincerely appreciate it, and also be astronomically flabbergasted and if you don't fall unconscious by the time you are half way through YOUR WELCOME, also a little warning, prepare yourself before you press read more, this is my longest story and my most proudest, I expect lots of comments below saying, IM NOT GOING TO READ ALL THAT, but I came prepared this time with a lot more than I usually bring to the table and this time I had to shorten it because youtube didnt allow me to post something that big lmao XD - *In the dimly lit attic of a quaint suburban home, nestled within the nostalgia of the 1990s, Ryan, known to the gaming world as 8-BitRyan, found himself rummaging through old boxes of forgotten treasures. It was a late night, the moon casting eerie shadows through the dusty windows, as he searched for a hidden gem among the relics of gaming history. As he sifted through the relics of a bygone era, his fingers brushed against the cold plastic of an old cartridge labeled "Shipwreck 64." Intrigued by its mysterious aura, Ryan decided to give it a spin, hoping for a nostalgic trip down memory lane. But as he inserted the cartridge into his vintage console and powered it on, a sudden flash of green light engulfed him, and he felt himself being pulled into the screen, disappearing from the world without a trace. In an instant, Ryan found himself standing on a pixelated beach, the salty breeze ruffling his hair as he gazed out at the vast expanse of the digital ocean. The world around him was alive with color and motion, every pixel pulsating with energy. But his awe was short-lived, as he soon realized that he was not alone. With a heavy heart, Ryan knew that he had to confront the darkness that now consumed her, and awaited the quieting of the eerie cacophony that came out of his friend's forked tongue, and Ryan had no choice but descend further into the abyss that was the abandoned and derogatory shipwreck. The air crackled with dark energy as Ryan faced off against his ultimate adversary, the fate of the digital world hanging in the balance. With pixels flashing and fists flying, Ryan unleashed a barrage of attacks against AlphaBit, his determination burning bright even in the face of overwhelming odds. But AlphaBit was a formidable foe, his powers fueled by the darkness that now consumed him, and the battle raged on with no end in sight. Each blow exchanged between them shook the very foundations of Shipwreck 64, sending shockwaves rippling through the pixelated landscape. Ryan's muscles strained with effort as he fought with all his might, every movement fueled by a burning desire to rid the world of AlphaBit's tyranny once and for all. As the clash reached its climax, Ryan dug deep within himself, drawing upon every ounce of strength and courage he possessed. With a final, decisive blow, he struck down AlphaBit once and for all, his pixelated form dissipating into nothingness as the darkness that had plagued Shipwreck 64 was banished forever. With the threat of AlphaBit finally vanquished, Ryan emerged victorious, his friends Pixel Pete and Megabyte Meg returning to their senses as the influence of the dark power faded away. Together, they stood amidst the ruins of Shipwreck 64, their bonds of friendship stronger than ever before. And so, with the digital world saved and peace restored, Ryan bid farewell to Shipwreck 64, returning to the world he knew and loved, ready to face whatever came next, one pixel at a time* . And there it is lol, so much time put into this story, but this game is just truly amazing so I felt the honor to write this story, I hope no 6 year olds read this, or they may never be the same again lol, but apart from that, hope you enjoyed the story, and if you are wondering yes I am an author lol, I am writing a story called long may they stand with 37,000 words atm, AND EVERYONE KNOWS THAT AUTHORS GAME 23 hours a day lmao XD 💀💀💀

Since the notes Ryan were finding around were all numbered, I decided to try and piece together what the full thing could've been. He didn't find all of them and skipped two, but this is what I've put together. The ones in parenthesis were all in the same number, so I tried my best to make them make sense because Ryan missed one of the notes right at the end of the demo. I'll try to find more!! 1.
