for anyone wondering how to get the blue line separating the images that he has you have to first go to view > rulers and then just click the ruler from the top or the side and drag

You need to go to View and make sure rulers are checked, then click on the rulers and drag onto the canvas. The top ruler makes horizontal guides and the side ruler makes vertical guides.

Just use the Orthographic Viewports as the main render cameras. Alternatively you can set up actual cameras at relative distances all around which have a super low Focal Length.

In photoshop those are rulers lines. Go view>rulers (ctrl+r) or command + r on Mac... then drag down from the rulers the outer edge of your view port.

It is mentioned just after the two minute mark, they're guides in place to ensure the selection will take only the required area.

But the image in the description has a much lower resolution than the original image! When you copied the top view of the car onto a new image, the width was 2200 pixels. The the _entire_ image in the google drive is not more than 1700 pixels wide. Edit: Ah, you have to click the download icon, not right click image -> Save Image ...
