Clarity, contrast and colors visibly better on the right. Original version seems to just have a green tinge filter over everything. But how big is the performance impact in practice? Especially on systems which can just about reach a steady 60 fps?

Right side is on and performance hit was like around 20% maybe. Went from 70 to 60 fps

There's haloing/glow around objects that is obscuring geometry behind them, looks like a hybrid screen-space effect like Nvidia SSRTGI filter that we already have for free.

@@SolidBoss7 There's no lighting difference whatsoever. If you disregard the grass color difference, lighting all around the world is the exact same. Shadows and the light sources are absolutely identical. Maybe some color changes and potentially some improved ambient occlusion on the grass but that's all and that's difficult to spot with the much darker grass.

Also the video shows off the "mod" the shadows are in the same place in both sides, the reflections in the puddles are the same showing there is no "raytracing" whatsoever and the shades in the tree is the same as well. Grass looks better because it's a little bit on the light side but overall at night time I think Ghost looks great regardless and this whole "raytracing" is a complete joke. No raytracing to be spotted here at all. And the fact that people get paid for low quality work like this is insane to me.

the ray tacing doesn't effect colour grading, but it is a reshade preset so there is also colour grading

ray tracing are shadows related not color, you may notice right side have desaturated colors for a more real world scene

Desaturated shadows are a weak point of real time raytracing that should be compensated with a better global illumination which is not the case here hence breaking the color grading of those scenes
