Yeah it tells us who aquaman is in that song. He’s a conflicted guy because he doesn’t belong in either world and yet his meant to be the king in one land and the savior of another.

It’s amazing how much the score changes the whole tone! Even with “needle drops”. In the 2017 version, the song gives a tone to suggest that Aquaman just doesn’t give a phuck and is quite happy drinking and being alone all the time. But the song used in Snyder’s version gives the impression that Aquaman had some inner demons he’s struggling with. He’s holding back on his full life life potential. #ReleaseTheAyerCut #RestoreTheSnyderverse

I'm saying it now, Look at Ben face when he says "I hear you can talk to fish." It's not bloated and his hair is in the exact spot as Zacks scenes. That was a Zach shot lol.

Yes it was a Zack shot, but it was also a Geoff Johns line. Snyder got rid of those and only kept Chris Terrio’s dialogue

Also Aquaman's line later on in the movie "Dressed like a bat. I dig it." was from Zack's original shoot, but was likely one of the comedic lines he was forced to shoot but never actually wanted so he cut it from his movie.

JiG strips away the fine-object detail and emphasizes Snyder's mastery of shadow and composition. It brings out the broader strokes of the image. It also blends in the "lesser CGI" moments much better.

if you notice from the Zack Snyder's cut, you can see the scene is. bit darker than Joss Whedon's cut, also Zack Snyder is better than Joss Whedon at making movies.

Well about Snyder's being darker than Whedon's, that's actually the whole movie and not just that scene. That's also something everyone's noticed, that the Whedon cut wasn't color edited. I hope that last sentence didn't sound rude or anything, I was just saying how it's known how Whedon's was too saturated.

Whedon is Hollywood personified, they even wrote that extra line about the oceans rising and the world boiling or whatever. It adds nothing to the story apart from being preachy about something most of us already know about. Glad people are starting to figure out that Joss Whedon is a fucking hack who can only write snarky teenage girl shows and generic MCU movies. They hired him because his movies make money, not because they are any good. He is the same guy who advocates for women while allegedly threatening Gal Gadot's career for not wanting to do the unfunny sexual joke scene with flash being on top of wonder woman (the exact same scene in avengers with black widow and hulk)

There Is a Kingdom is infinitely better than Icky Thump. It is just so cinematic while Icky Thump playing while the cool guy goes into a storm feels cliche and boring. There Is a Kingdom is memorable
