My ex boss is from HK but he is British citizen now. I use to work for him in UK and there's one time he came to Malaysia straight away he like it here. He bought a landed house which is next to my house. So he come to Malaysia once or twice a year. Now for foreigners is difficult to buy a house in Malaysia unless they go for the program mm2h. My boss house is under renovation now and he is planning to retire in Malaysia because of the cost of living here is more affordable. Obviously my boss asset is 5 times more in Malaysia because he is earnings sterling pound 😂. So he can live a very comfortable life here in Malaysia ❤

Good choice! I’ve been looking into many cities for retirement and KL Malay is my top choice cuz I like the food, space, medical, and low cost of living. ❤
I got 3 Hongkie friends also work here as a Doctor Specialist and they love Malaysia very much :)

I was born in HK and having been living in US for 40 years. I am about to retire and have been looking into both Thailand and Malaysia. After visiting both countries numerous times, I feel that they both offer nice weather, affordable living, and good seafood. At the end, I found myself preferring Thailand for their friendly people and tolerant culture. Of course, this is strictly personal and can vary based on one's own experience.

Come and visit Ipoh and you will find that most Chinese here can speak Cantonese very well. In fact, most people in Perak can speak Cantonese. Also cost wise, many local food and beverages may be cheaper than KL. Do come to Ipoh in your next trip to Malaysia. 😁
Yr comparison is too extreme la😅 Malaysians shd be proud & confident enough of such an ‘liveable’ & enjoyable living standard - in terms of food quality, living environments, diverse cultures & numerous travel attractions … etc ; why compare ? We r uniquely Malaysia & Malaysians 😉😎 Welcome if you like ( as friendly as we are)… other wise; who cares 🤷♀️

Hey, thanks for promoting our country. I stay in Cheras which is 10min drive from Bukit Bintang City Center, i can say our country in generally it's quite safe but people need to take common sense precaution such as not flaunting wealth in not so well areas, don't walk alone in dark alleys, ALWAYS keep your belongs by your side don't put it in the table and leave it unattained. I've not heard any snatch thieves case in a while. In general i feel Hong Kongers when thinking of immigration, Malaysia should be into consideration and not out right reject because i think the culture, language and climate is suitable for Hong Kongers.
12:35 speak about Penang, nowadays lot of them can understand cantonese. I guess is maybe mco causes many of them returning to penang and start their own business or help their family business
HK people should behave better. Can't blame it all on stress. Chinese people did not cause the high pressure society of HK, why are they still so racist? Why polish the gweilo?
Wayne89, really? Why msians dun choose to go to kl to work. Pls ask your fellow msians in sg. We are very happy if they can go to kl to work. We dun need them in Sg. With the low pay, u can only be happy eating and using msian products.

If you want to experience how local Msian Chinese spend their weekend shopping and eating, you can stay thru the weekend at Cititel or Garden-A Giles Signature Hotel. Both hotels are in the Mid-Valley Megamall in KL. The mall is packed and is a preferred choice by local Chinese shoppers in the weekend.
@Leongk3696 Жыл бұрын
By the way, we Msians dont walk in the street under the hot sun (only crazy people do that 😅). We only walk in the shopping mall. □We get in the car from our house and drive straight to the basement parking lot in the shopping mall without exposing ourselves to hot weather to sweat.
