Did you ever find out what the red substance stuck in the blower was? My theory is that it could have been the only remaining remnants of a typical red dyed shop rag that got sucked through a disconnected intake to avert a runaway or just by carelessness with the remaining portion of the rag being yanked back out of the already stuck blower.

Stan the Man whatever it was it was inside the rotors as well So my guess is some type of crack detection dye or cleaner that didn’t get completely removed prior to reassembly

What was the actual time that it took you to do the rebuild?
