怎麼這兩位主播來到新加坡這麼多年還是只是吃家鄉的食物嗎？什麼是咕嚕肉都不知道嗎？非常遺憾，政府是非常想讓這些移民融入新加坡，但很可惜看到這樣的新移民的心態！回到墨士廉的訪問，除了這個小瑕疵，整體上還是可以的。恭喜墨士廉，謝謝墨士廉。加油！

猪肉加酱油（braised pork with soya source) = 豆油肉（ba）或卤肉. 绝不是咕噜肉（藩茄酱加肉）。不要自作多情。

@@ongseowhsiung 抱歉Uncle, 我看你也是搞错了，Maximillian 明明讲的是 "braised pork with soy sauce" 就是福建/潮州人的卤肉. 如果是咕噜肉，那应该是 "sweet and sour pork". 我是土生土长的新加坡人，阿公阿嬤是福建人，从来没有听他们称酱油卤肉Luo Bak 为咕噜肉.

I need to correct this statement . Max is great to speak Chinese, but we do not have to say that many other young people cannot speak Chinese. How can Singaporean Chinese and some other citizen learned Chinese as second languate for ten years cannot speak Chinese. If you write cannot speak well, perhaps I can accept . But cannot speak is totally NOT correct !

I am 72 years old . I studied Chinese from 1960 to 1969. After that, it was all English in my work life since 1972 . When I went to work in China in 2005, it was a struggle. But it improved till I retired in 2019 and returned back to Singapore. Based on my interpretation, Max also do not speak well that well still, need more speaking and improvement.

@@SK-2175 I have worked with many young people, and they declare OH I do not know how to speak Chinese, blah blah and they do not feel is wrong for your info.

Do you believe these guys? I met much more young people in my 45 career . Yes , quite many do not want to speak but they can actually 😂

Of course no one will feel anything wrong if they do not speak Chinese. If these young guys are Singaporeans who hv to study it for 10 years, logically they can speak even if they failed in the exam. Unless they took another second language like Malay ( Baba ) .

Poor questions phrased, poor presenters! Asked lots of closed questions. They are more nervous than the interviewees!

两位主播不会访问人，真的表现差强人意，访谈能力真的还需加强。

他们俩都是资深主播，但现场访问真的是差强人意！话题根本没有一个重点也缺少了sensitivity. 也要怪导播缺少与主播沟通的能力。好多画面主播都秒停顿 😮

The female Chinese host said Singapore cuisine. It was weird cos Max is SINGAPOREAN. Needs more training pls! Channel News 8 anchors are not local. SAD!

The mum did the right thing! It is her pride that she taught her son to speak Chinese well. I love to watch their Chinese interviews too. Impressed by the efforts to learn Chinese.🎉

這俩位主播簡直是糟糕透！如此簡單的訪談都令人看了吐血嚇一大跳！還是資深的新聞主播更是不能原諒！不求進步不自我提升只能呆板硬背念稿的结果！然而現埸的嘉宾Max母子的談吐却是一级榫！恭喜Max❤!為你及你的國家驕傲！🌐👍

我觉得女主持人三句访谈中有两句都是以“哈”结尾，听了有点不通顺，不太舒服。相比之下男主持人没有类似问题。

But can't speak Chinese and negative reports on and off about self discipline...drink, take the weed, sleeps around when overseas in the dorm according to some of the media reports...image no good...Max has very good imagine. Speaks Chinese well, got values, mum taught him well.
