I used to be a close neighbour to Jack Dee. I saw him all the time, often bumped into him in the local Londis. He’s not friendly at all, he’d turn away without an answer if anyone said “Hi”. We just ignored him after a while. His wife , Jane is ok though.

Thats why I never liked him if im honest. He strikes me as a cranky, stuck up, opinionated knob and his jokes/humour never seemed good enough to justify that attitude. When he'd be on 8oo10cdc, instead of riffing off offers that other comedians would make like every other guest they have on, he'd just rudely shut down the other comedians down and either tell them to stop being stupid and take "his" bit seriously, point out a minor error and belittle the comic for an insignificant mistake, or scoff and say something snarky about how silly something they had done was. He was wholly unsupportive of others yet expected the absolute best from them, killed half the banter dead in its tracks and spent the rest of the time scowling at people and grumbling until the time came for his one or two lines for the show, then he'd drawl out some criticism of something in the media and the audience would applaud like he'd just come up with toasted bread. His material feels 1 dimensional, even in stand up cause his whole persona is just "i hate things"/"i call things rubbish or stupid and turn my nose up at them"/"I wish things would shut up and people annoy me". I never got why some people will eat it up like a class act of razor sharp wit.

We get plenty of blue-sky days here in England, our problem is that we don't get consistent, seasonal weather here any more. Every 'season' seems to be pretty much the same, i.e an unpredictable mix of black cloud, heavy rain, sunshine and wind - it can all change in an instant, or else we get steady sunshine or steady cloud for a few days at a time. Often times, though, the weather changes several times throughout the day. It's really annoying, you get dressed to go out and 20 minutes after you leave the house the weather completely changes so you either get soaked wearing shorts and t-shirt or else you're sweating your nuts off in a raincoat and jeans. We can get warm sunshine at Christmas and yet, in the middle of Spring, we'll suddenly get one day or even just an afternoon of snowfall - even if the sky was clear that morning and the sun was shining. I love my country (and it's true people) but the weather thing seriously p*sses me off.

You don't NEED (and they weren't designed) to physically spin the record backward; they're not designed to be perceived consciously. Your subconscious registers and comprehends it effortlessly, even backwards, or at volumes you can't consciously hear or at speeds you can't understand. That's pretty much the nature and definition of subliminal. It totally bypasses your conscious and implants into your subconscious.

Yes they did. Debris from Flight 77 was scattered over a large area of the Pentagon building and surrounding service roads, especially large sections of the more sold parts, such as landing gear. Both black boxes were recovered: the voice data was too damaged to recover, but the flight data recorder had a solid-state drive and had recoverable data of the aircraft's movements right to the moment of impact.

Oh my God . The story of teaching your daughter to drive reminded me of teaching my mother to drive ...I had NO idea she would be si aggressive and absolutely sure she knew everything since (!!!!) She had watched father drive for years ...yer ,right ...she was telling cars to get out of her way ( as if naughty children )and nit bothering to slow down at intersections because she was turning left and that's allowed .....pthah !
