I hope they do that "Available Tomorrow" thing again with the Splatoon DLC, and I've always got my Kid Icarus Uprising Port hat on. This direct feels like the last chance for a lot of stuff I want, Tomodachi Life 2, or Wuhu Island in the Booster Course Pass. I really hope Donkey Kong isn't just some tiny spin off or whatever, I want a big beautiful new DK game

It’s extremely unlikely, but we can wish. It’s expected sometime February since some gear in the game associated with it has been pushed back to around that time, and that was the last time we got dlc drop, so it would line up- the first wave dropped during a season surrounding the original Splatoon game, and this fresh season is theorized to be surrounding Splatoon 2, which makes sense since the plaza is the Splatoon 2 plaza we see in the dlc (and obv off the hook are the idols from splat 2) so it would mix well. All I’m hoping for is some announcement mentioning at least a vague date, or something Splatoon related. LETS WISH THOUGH! I hope you’re right.

With Octo Expansion, they released it right after the World Championships in 2018. Since it's gonna be in January this time, I think it'll probably be released then

i don't think we'll be getting any information on tomodachi life 2 or animal crossing, i mean, it would be cool to have something on tomodachi life, especially because miitopia got a switch port, but considering that the switch is on it's last few years and months before the next gen console, it is unlikely. As well with animal crossing: especially as the gap between new leaf and new horizons was 8/9 years.... so i believe that won't happen either. my hopes? i dont know!!! edit: and i'm proved right again

Yes, please!! It's already been so long since those two games came out for WiiU (which I don't have). Twilight Princess is my favorite Zelda and I would gladly pay $60 to be able to replay it on Switch with better graphics.

I mean it's been 217 days since they said Golden Sun would be coming to the GBA VC, so... I'll take that please. Oh, and Side Order too, but I would prefer them to shadow drop (whenever it comes out) and not give us another trailer or anything. I love the mystery. Speaking of mystery, Layton news would make me very happy... I know 30-35 minutes of the direct will not interest me though :{

I seriously hope there’s a new Star Fox game or even a remaster of Star Fox Adventures would be amazing, just something, an open world Star Fox game would be so unbelievably good with the ability to go to space and go to a few planets in the Arwings with each planet having it’s own story, I know that’s never going to happen but I can hope, Or a F-Zero game, both of those would be so cool, imagine an F-Zero game where you have your standard F-Zero gameplay and a story but also a side mode that doesn’t need to be overly complex but maybe a track maker where you have a large open grid where you have some preset pieces to use like a track piece that turns by 45, 90 or 135 degrees either left or right with the option of a hard turn or curved turn, boost pads and loops that maybe take up a few tiles and a way to maybe elevate the track to a second level as well, Those are my two dream games to come to the Switch even though I know neither will ever exist
