It's not the DS speaker quality that makes Wild World music sound a bit crunchy. As someone who plays Wild World on a 3DS, I can say that it's the game's sound. The villagers sound a bit static too, and New Leaf, on the same 3DS, sounds much better But yeah, the DS was an old console :)

Okay I admit it, I’m SO biased when it comes to this game but hear me out PLEASE! This is my favorite Zelda game ever, subjectively. Can you imagine your stepdad (who has been a Zelda fan himself since OoT) buying you this as your first Zelda game for Christmas at the age of 6? I was so new to the franchise that I named Link “Zelda” in my first play through. I instantly fell in love with this game from the music to especially the characterization of Zelda (I thought from then on that Zelda had more focal roles in other games). I loved the fact that I could play such a heavy story game at the doctor’s office while my mom gave birth, at my cousins golf tournaments, or even at church in the bathroom. I think most of all though, it’s something that me and my stepdad bonded over. He turned me into the biggest Zelda nerd ever and even almost 15 years later, he still buys me the most recent Zelda entries. Sure this is a very personal and uniquely corny experience, but I think that’s what good games are meant to be. Lifelong personal experiences that stay with you decades later.

to me, I enjoyed Mask a bit more, Diabolical Box was the best "game" of the series, but Unwound Future was the only one to make me shed a tear. Played through the entire series around launch dates in order (outside of layton brothers) so not holding full nostalgia. Wasn't the biggest fan of Curious Village.

I just hate the way Mario's fursuits look, except for maybe the classic frogsuit and the OJ Mario 3 Tanuki tail and ears atop an otherwise normal Mario.

Unpopular Opinion: Katrielle Layton is one of the best Layton Games with the best Story and a good Message! And If You dont WANT to Play the Game JUST WATCH THE ANIME!
@Holly-khore-levina12 сағат бұрын
Honestly the most damning statement you can make about Layton's Mystery Journey is that the anime (Layton Mystery Detective Agency) renders it entirely redundant. Doing both the idea of one-off storylines better and even going the full distance with the game's tease of a cliffhanger. The one-off adventures also do a better job fleshing out our group, showing Katrielle's vivid and eccentric twist on her father's own method of problem solving, and giving her and her supporting cast the room to breathe and be something uniquely fun.

It's simple It's forgettable because it's as generic as it gets. It has nothing distinct to make one miss it and want to play it. 3d world (WiiU) had powerups like the Cat costume and Clone Cherries, it also took place in a new kingdom (the sprixies' kingdom) But 3d land is just your typical mushroom kingdom setting, bowser kidnaps peach plot, and the main gimmick they tried so hard to market was the leafs....... Which existed already.....you're setting your game up for failure when its only defining trait and whole identity is something that already existed

When I played professor layton vs phoenix wright i absolutely HATED the ace attorney parts. That was more than a decade ago, and i only actually played ace attorney last year and i absolutely loved it and I'm still obsessed (especially TGAA). So i don't think it was very successful in introducing me to AA lol but i still liked the Layton parts

ive just picked up wild world after playing NH as my first animal crossing game (obsessively for months), and it's blowing my mind how much character the villagers have... i can see now why people are so focused on having aesthetically pleasing villagers in their NH worlds, because thats sort of the only purpose they serve. its been cool to talk to villagers ive loved in NH and actually see their personalities LOL. also expected to be less into it bc of the lack of customisation and town decoration, but ive been playing just as much as i played NH when i was most obsessed, i havent even been time travelling! awesome game

I don't know about anyone else but, I always wanted to see punch out tackle mma. Like an arcade version of mma where you still got the regular punching technique but in addition have kicking and potentially grappling techniques as well. It is still pretty simple to implement as well, have the "X" and "Y" button for left and right punches, the do the same for the kicks expect put those on the "A" and "B" buttons respectfully. Then use the stick to aim where you're targeting, like push up on the sticks to aim for head strikes or down for leg strikes if you don't push any direction on the stick that could be body blows. Add online then you have 3 million seller on your hands if you want my opinion.

I'm only ten minutes into the video but as a resident of London, love the jokes about it LMAO I'm enjoying this commentary so far. Lost Future is genuinely such an amazing game, one of the best in the series and one of the most emotional. Azran Legacy was another emotional game for me (mainly because of the ending), but the themes and storyline in Lost Future is just so spectacular, truly.

I do think you have a bit of a point with ARMS to an extent, but I always saw arms as being Nintendo's own spin on a fighting game (outside of smash) in the same way that Splatoon was Nintendo's own spin on a shooter. To me, Punch-Out is similar to games like Crazy Taxi or Pac-Man where even if you can't change much between entries, the gameplay is just so good that people keep playing anyway. I honestly don't know if Punch-Out really needs another entry to be honest, for me the games are some of the easiest one to get back into and replay. I just would really like a port of the Wii game so that we could get a proper HD, portable version of what I consider the best entry (especially since that could mean us latecomers could finally play Doc Louis' Punch-Out as a bonus).

I think the only reasons why there’s no new Punch Out game is because of the fact that they want to make new games and avoid reboots unless the last iteration of the franchise was 2D or pixels (as seen in Star Fox) and the fact that Nintendo was aware on the changing perspectives of Punch Out’s target audience and want to remove stereotypes as a solution.
