The charges for the suspect of the fire needs to include animal abuse & animal cruelty. All the Wildlife that had no way of escaping the rapid moving fire & breathing that smoke from so close. Innocent until proven guilty, therefore his face should "not" be plastered on National television, according to his Constitutional Rights. The way this government operates he could just be their scapegoat, as a lot of these fires have been proven to be manipulated in the name of Redevelopment Regional Planning because of the correlation of their geographical locations and that of the fires. The city plans are on the website for everyone to see. Lahaina fire in Hawaii is a perfect example. There has been a book written on it called the "Great Maui Land Grab". "Brush Junkie" is an informative You Tube platform for California fires, also one of the authors of the book. Thank you 🙏

Gratefully thankful in so many ways concerning this particular fire. For one, thank you Big Bear Valley Family for keeping us informed of the fire conditions and Jackie and Shadow's safety and that they are safe. That the fires are at a high percentage of containment and that it's looking like we are out of the worst of things, since evacuation status has lightened, the winds have shifted, and people's homes are safe. 🙏💙🦅

Today was the first day where there was a little a break from the smoke. It moved more to the south side of the lake. Air is still super unhealthy but not like what's it been.Which was really bad. I'm sure a lot of animals are suffering.

Great news. I am happy to hear either Jackie or Shadow have been seen in the RT at night and mornings, but I will be even happier when I see both together. They have become very important to us all and even the other critters in Big Bear, as well as everyone who lives there. It has been great news that the fire has not forced everyone out, and the firefighters have been so great hard at work, making sure all is safe. Prayers are for you all, the critters, Jackie and Shadow, and the wonderful people who have been fighting the fire to keep everyone safe. God Bless you all. Thank you FOBB for the update. It is relieving to know thet there is rain and also that the fire has been contained even more and also the evacuation has been lifted from mandatory to warning status. It’s always so wonderful to hear either one of or both of Jackie and/or Shadow chortling. I love that both are taking turns being at either Snap Tree or the Roost Tree. I will continue to keep both of them in my prayers and also other wild animals or critters too and I also pray they all know where to go for safety too until it is safe for them to go back to their homes (if they still have a home) I highly doubt they do and they will have to hopefully find another place to make a new home for themselves and their critter families too. I'm so glad that Jackie made an appearance again!!! Can someone tell me what that orange stuff at the very bottom of the center of the screen is? That's not fire right...? That's gotta just be part of a tree moving with the wind right...? I've Just never noticed it before. I'm so glad to know that Jackie and Shadow are okay. At this time they have a great containment on all local fires. The habitat is in no danger from the fires. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, last season clutch was deemed non-viable. They have had successful hatches in the past seasons so We will have to see what this season has in store for us. Hope this helps!
