My dad thinks that it's very hard to have a Pomeranian dog just because one of the friends of my mom said it doesn't listen it bites and like whenever they say " sit" or " don't bite" or " stay quiet" it doesn't obey so my dad says thats a lot of work and he frefers to not have a dog which I just think it depends on how you train it tbh cuz you don't have to yell at them and also not be so sweet it has to be a calm but also firm voice because they are not like kids sometimes kids listen but dogs are different right? Idk because I haven't had a dog but I wanna get one and I think what's more important is to have patience and to know how to train them good :D

it REALLY depends on how YOU train them my strong opinion is that the way a dog behave is 100% the way his owner let him behave, and not behaving well is not their fault at all but their owners My mom heard the same thing from her friend and i recently got my pomeranian, hes the calmest ever and is learning everything so fast. All on training correctly

They’ll eventually stop,they’re barking to get your attention! They needs attention 24/7! For kids,when they go to school,just put them in your grandmas house so they can get the attention! And walk them! Give lots of attention to ur dog and they won’t bark..

I'm with you - a firm NO gets the message across. No they can't bark forever, but they're pretty smart, and 'ignoring it' doesn't help at all. Silence is consent has been my experience with the 4 I've had over the years. They have always been so quiet, I could take them in any store and they won't say a peep.

What if my Pom just yells and never stops in the crate or in another room? Literally will go for hours, ignoring doesn’t work. He has to be with me. If I close the door or not in the room he cries shrilling cries for hours. I’ve had my 6 month Pom for a few days.
