Agree. He seems to never overhit, never does more than is necessary; most shots =same speed. Alot of us should be applying that logic at the table.

@@scottisitoro3953 I saw him run 150 and out, and the cue ball was smack dab in the center of the table after every break shot!.. He coulda ran 1000 that day.. Smh..

@@jacobjones5269 That's awesome. Leaving that cue in the center after my 8 and 9 ball breaks has been a priority lately...finding it much easier to disregard Tour players and APA competitors breaking form either side. For me, old school center power break is working. Keep pocketing, player

I was at that “Chicago Tournament”.. Johnny won the lag and ran 13 and out against Efren in the finals.. And that’s how you handle the Magician.. Strongest thing I saw in those 2 weeks was both Bustamante and Efren politely declining Buddy’s stakehorse offer to “win as much as you carry out the door”.. lol.. That was the 2nd time I saw Efren decline an offer to play Buddy..

Honestly im not a fan of Mike Sigel stroke. He used to strike the ball harder than necessary, and its prone to wable thats why he used to have some unnecessary amd uncharacteristic gimme misses. In that era, i prefer EFREN's stroke and in today's era i prefer ALBIN OUCHAN's stroke with more finess.

At around the 11:00 mark, Grady was asked, "How many US Open 9 balls has Mike won?" He ignorantly (RIP CERTAINLY) replied, "6 or 7." Do your homework, drink black coffee and join the rest of us on Earth.

Early indications of Archer's OCD, moving three chalks all around the table . . .lol
@LeonFleisherFan Жыл бұрын
By the time Efren came to the States, Irving's career as a player was over. It's true he was invited to some Straight Pool tournaments because he was a legend and an asset to the sport, but the last time I remember seeing him participate was in the eighties, long before Efren ever entered his first Straight Pool tournament. Besides, Efren was never interested in Straight Pool (sadly, I love the game and he might have done wonders for its popularity), so I wouldn't be surprised if they never even met in person?
