Becca Tees actually a lot of celebrities get special in-vitro fertilization to have twins. Mariah Carey Celine dion Marcia Cross and MANY more celebrities have had IVF to get pregnant with twins (and singles) and have openly admitted so. Beyoncé is also rumored to have gotten IVF . The older you get the harder it is to naturally conceive twins so that's why so many celebrities get it bc they are older and know it wouldn't be as easy to have them. And the sudden boost in all these celebrities getting the treatment started some years ago which is why they say it's a trend; bc so many celebrities keep getting it at around the same time. I agree it's not the best phrasing but it's not completely inaccurate either.

I understand the need of getting in-vitro done. That wasn't what I was targeting though. I meant the use of the word 'trend' in general because it sounded like it was thrown in there when it wasn't properly used to describe something. She used it to describe that J-Lo & Marc started this 'trend' of having twins.

Becca Tees they probably did tho? Like I said, a lot of celebrities started getting in vitro for twins around the same time a few years ago. I get that "trend" isn't the best term but that's basically how you would describe it bc of the situation. It's Hollywood what do you expect. Some of jlos celeb friends may have heard she naturally conceived twins and started to get in vitro to get twins too. It's not that crazy to call it a trend.
