I’m glad I came across maker pipe in a video. I needed to make a removable counter top. I have a chest freezer and I wanted counter space above it. If you place heavy items on the fridge you my ruin the seal.

I plan to build a Conestoga wagon type canvas support over a Surley Bill bicycle trailer frame. Is there a good way to mount the 3/4 conduit on the sides of the trailer that make an instant 90 degree turn at the mounting point?

Have you found plastic T and elbow brackets that fit 1/2" EMT? see some in your video, maybe for 3/4"?? just have not been able to find those anywhere.

I don't know of any plastic connectors but our steel connectors can be used with 1/2" emt if you use our shims which are 10 cents a piece on the website.

Great product lineup. Total Nube here, so forgive me if this is obvious. I've seen some sample project images on your website that have pipe ending in a flange on the wall or ceiling. What kind of flange are they using for that? Thanks

Thanks for the comment! Happy to help in any way. The most common solution I see is a 3/4" pipe flange with a 3/4" emt compression fitting screwed into it. Both found in a hardware store, one in plumbing and one in electrical. What are you thinking of building?

@@MakerPipe I’m planning an overhead camera slider. I’ve built a smaller version of it before with galvanized pipe, MDS, and nylon U Groove bearings. It was great, but EMT conduit should be smoother and connect to the ceiling studs easier. No standard length of galvanized matches the stud spacing in my office, so I had to use 2x4s as a mounting plate.

Please provide more detail about the snap-in thread that fits in the end of the EMT. I need to be able to screw something into the end of the pipe, and haven't found a way yet. Also, if you would speak slower, we could understand you better. Thanks!

There is a link for the snap in threads in the description. We haven’t used them in a build yet but they stay in the pipes really well after hammering them in. Let me know if you have any other questions and I will do my best to help. Thanks for the feedback!

If you're going to look at yourself on the screen, sit farther away from the camera. The video looks weird if your not looking into the camera lens, that's where your audience is
