I am so glad I found you r channel. I was going to use scaffold poles for my project, but this looks like it will be much better and cheaper. Thank you :).

Now that's a great improvement, stepping up to 1" EMT pipe, fittings, and acessories. Do you think your company will go up to 1-1/4" or even better 1-1/2" chain link fence pipe fittings, etc ? I want to build outdoor carports in the front and back yard to shade vehicle in the morning and afternoon from the sun. Commercial Carports 18x21 are too expensive and the wait time is months. Id love to find a DIY solution that is strong and won't blow away or twist and bend, yet is less expensive than square tube structures and that I can assemble myself. Any ideas?

Thanks for the comment. We will be adding larger sizes later this year that will be perfect for that kind of application. In the meantime, you may want to look into using our 1" EMT Connectors with black iron or galvanized pipe.

Cool! Looking forward to using it! I want to make a special Scafolding for my house, since I have to go un very high in the inner roof to change light bulbs, this would be ideal for it!

Sounds like quite the undertaking Javier. Please be careful!

@@MakerPipe I will, many thanks, but only with the 1" pipe.

Another excellent video. Are you planning to integrate the 1-inch connector options into your community kits? I'm specifically interested in the DIY Pipe Desk kit...
@MakerPipe2 жыл бұрын
Hi Robert. That is something we could totally do in the future. In the meantime you could get the connectors individually and follow the current instructions with them. Thanks for the suggestion!

@@MakerPipe glad to hear you are considering the addition. If I go the manual route, I'll just have to make sure I adjust the length of the pipes to accommodate the different amount of pipe that will be internal to the connectors. Thanks again!

i find 1" to be much preferred over 3/4". 1" seems much stronger- and the seams dont crack as easily!

Have you tested this with 1" SCH40 pipe? It's has a slightly larger O.D. than 1" EMT (1.163" vs 1.315").
