It would be cool as a live performance tool if it had MPE capability, and the ability to play several Louis in parallel while being able to turn them on and off like the RC505, but with the capability of sequencing ecording another line of midi data performed, with the possibility of merging this onto a new track.,

I plan on looking at MPE. Today it can play MIDI "loops" in parallel (I call them tracks), of different lengths even, and at the same time record either to a new MIDI "loop" or record new data onto an existing track in real-time (ie: merge). I'm a big proponent of live audio looping as you can see on my channel in earlier videos. This won't have any audio features itself, but there's little chance I would release this without it being a fully featured, hands-free controllable, MIDI "looper" that can work side-by-side with audio loopers. There's more of this kind of thing on the way.
