Fantastic video. I use a HX stomp and a Headrush. Typically I would only use the XLR output from the Headrush to give it to sound engineer and take it to FOH. However, if I go up in volume in the Headrush, so it will the signal that's reaching the mixer. I'm considering to keep the method, but use the other output from HX stomp and use a passive DI box to give a "copy" of the signal to the sound engineer. Am I complicating things too much? I think it's viable as my effects chain is mono, so I can take advantage that both outputs will contain the exact same sound. Great material by the way. Thanks a lot

The difference I saw between the 2, is when you put the ''room'' knob at maximum. On my Iridium, I get a way better (wider) stereo image from the headphone output than the 2 maint outputs. Is it normal? Is there anything we can do so the main outs have the same stereo feeling, with room at full position?

Michelle was dancing to this on Ellen. She was promoting fitness and she and Twitch, Ellen and dancers from So You Think You Can Dance were all getting down to Bruno and this song. It was so different than Melania standing by Don-old with her usual mad face and forget about Don-old. There were no concerts, no musical events, and Don-old and his "bride" never went to an even like The Kennedy Honors or other such events. The White House reminded me of Pride Rock when the Hyenas took over from Mufasa. All black and lifeless.

I have a Mimiq Doubler and I love it for bedroom use along with a mixer and headphones, panning L and R, it gives a true immersive playing experience and I absolutely love it. But I have always wanted to use it on a band situation with 2 guitarists. I totally see a use of it for the rythm guitar for example during choruses (widening the sound on them), but for the lead guitar I am not so sure on its practical use if there is already a rythm guitar playing along. What are your thoughts? Cheers

Over all in a band situation with 2 guitars, I probably would have it set very slight to spread the guitar out to the other side from its normal pan location, and the same for the other guitarist. Or not use it at all. For leads, the FOH would probably bring the lead guitar into the center regardless, MIMIQ or not.

What problem are you having when you try to send the MIDI Clock from the Model 12 into FL Studio? Is it trouble having them both start at the same time because the Model 12 doesn't send the MIDI Start Command?

@@markbruggeman274 The area that CS:M mainly helps in involves clock pulses, clock latency and clock jitter. But if you are sending notes from your Piano Roll to synths, that's not using clock between them. This would be more for if you wanted to sync external sequencers to your DAW and other gear, where clock must be shared to keep everything from drifting apart. Are you doing an external sequencing? How are you using clock right now between devices? Or are you just investigating what clock is for at the moment? Is the Model 12 recording audio, or are you using it just as a mixer/monitor? What issues are you faced with?

Hi 👋🏻 love this! I have a question 🙋🏻♂️ can this sync midi notes to the clock in realtime? So that if the clock is running, everything you play will always be in time? Plenty of devices will quantize after you record in… but for ages I’ve just wanted something I can run midi thru and it come out perfectly in time. Is this possible with this?? 🙏🏻

It can't do the quantize that you are thinking of. It can actually quantize MIDI Commands on the 1st beat of a bar, which is useful for things like sending looping commands that are perfectly timed, but it won't do anything with a performance of notes that are streaming in. Thanks for the question.

Perhaps you have any idea of any other device or product that might do this realtime sync thing? If not… feature request 😉 tell people they will never play out of time ever again haha. It’s certainly possible and the closest I’ve got is running a little script through an iPad but still not an ideal hardware solution for me. I just want to play like a robot would lol 😂

Over the years, comments have been made about keeping the flanger on through the whole riff in the final example. This isn't a cover tune I'm doing, it's an (overblown) effects example of something I've used in my own rig. I leave the flanger on so that the effect can be heard for more than a brief second. It seems a shame that the Fender / Charvel factories aren't using stainless steel at a lower price point, because it's pretty much a thing on brands building in Indonesia priced from anything from about £400 upwards rather than something you have to buy a £3.5k guitar to get. At least insofar as the neck on the GG model feels better because of the fret material, the DK24 is a bad choice as an alternative. Charvel in particular seem strange to me that they're making some £2k Made in Japan DKs and still not using SS frets (except the cheaper guthrie model which does have them) when pretty much all the alternatives do have them, and they are clearly a popular choice now amongst players. Personally speaking I'd say these are basically the same guitar, pretty much, which, you know, what is the point of owning 2 guitars that are essentially the same? Unless, like Guthrie (and many other touring artists), you're gigging and you want spare guitars ready to go if you break a string or have another technical issue. Or perhaps you want drop D or other tunings for particular songs - then, sure, having 2 similar or even identical guitars makes sense. But if you're going to own n different guitars then, imo, they're better off being distinct from each other, like a telecaster, strat and a les paul or a shredder superstrat guitar with a trem and perhaps one more vintage in tone and setup sans trem.
