The MR&T was one of those layouts in Model Railroader that got me hooked on the hobby as a kid. I loved the story of the ripped off paint scheme from the Arkansas Valley. And I do remember the full blue later scheme and always wondered what happened. Good stuff!

I know I'm late but I had a relative that worked on the Arkansas Valley Interurban. I bought one of Home Shops AV covered hoppers as a tribute to my Great Uncle Charlie O'Brien.
