A person who was able to fix the deal at that price for that house doesnt need comments on what he might be doing wrong...he is in charge 👍.....what people need to realize is Italy has a different slower and more complicated dimension from the u.k....why do you think he hasnt found an electrician yet???go with the flow as he is...he is a man who gets things done .

Get a water trickle installation. A thin waterline with holes fed by a small pump. That way the garden is watered all day with a tiny amount. Within no time your garden will be a green oasis. The pump can be connected to the well.

Elsewhere on KZbin, people involved in market gardening in Sicily, recommend burying the pierced water line nearer to the roots so as not to lose the water immediately to evaporation.

Hi Johnathan, I noticed just how sound the house was the first time you showed us inside. The lack of cracking and no water stains stood out for me as well as no pealing paintwork which is usually standard in Italy lol. I don't have any more advice to add, but I have never bought a property that doesn't need work. I suppose I could say that I would definitely be more comfortable with projects I can do most of myself. Anything structural I'd advise a quote first to make sure it's in your budget. Thank you for sharing again. Don't work too long in the heat of the day. 👍❤️

You have cleaned the gardens well. I did some research about olive trees well those cactuses you dug out are used when olive trees are planted to feed the roots, in very dry areas they do so for up to three years. We'll move on to the beehives when the house is done, until then, take care.

You’re absolutely right-protective eyewear is so important! 😊 Sometimes I do forget to use PPE, especially when I’m in focused work mode, but I do try to keep safety in mind. Honestly, the safety glasses steaming up and the dust mask making it hard to breathe can be a bit of a challenge, but I’m working on being more consistent with it. In an earlier video you mentioned that you would be moving some of the trees. Given the size of the trees, you may need to install new trees. It's not easy to move mature trees, unless done professionally, most of them will die of root shock.

Congratulations for the videos. And also for the deal, at that price it was a very good deal. I live in Milan and here life and the climate are different, but if I were you I would have concentrated more on having water, electricity and gas. Or burning wood with a fireplace. Trying to fix the inside of the house, Winter is coming. I would do the garden in my spare time.

Hi Jonathan.😊 It was a fantastic deal you got on the house. Well done, because it's true that you shouldn't show yourself too enthusiastic about the house. If it goes, it goes with the prices they demand, but one thing is to demand, but another is what people want to pay. It was also a crazy high price for that house without water and more. You have to put money into it. Even a blind hen can spot that. Congratulations again, great that you got him in place. Do you know what it is sometimes difficult to hear you and think if you know at Temu that they have cheap microphones that are wireless for the shirt. You have that Yorkshire accent which is a little harder to hear sometimes, 😉😆but you are also too far away from the recorder. And with regard to light, I have just bought a lot of solar lamps for the garden which light up nicely in the dark. They charge up easily in your sun, so you can look around the house. They are also very cheap on Temu, I know many are against buying from them, but I don't care about these prices today where we can see they are almost robbing us. No, because in many stores here it is exactly the same goods, they have just put an EU mark on them. So plain to see. A lamp I paid almost 3 euros for costs in our store, a large well-known store group, about 14 euros, which is exactly the same. Hope all is well and you can hold on to the heat. Continued good will to work. Many greetings Maria.😊
