Have a Klein 13-in-1 arriving today. I prefer impact rated bits, and have lots of them for my impact driver. It will be great to use any of them in screwdriver mode. The only other handled screwdriver I plan to carry rotinely is a short Wera. I also carry the small racheting wrench and a tiny one bit gadget . (PS: Like you saying "It's all for His glory." God bless You and all good people.)

I have been using the Knipex brand version of those pliars for years. It's an exceptional design. I think the knipex version has a little thinner head. Very light weight too. I'm going to have to check those out.

I understand the desire to get sponsors, as just a couple of 5 to 7 minute videos can buy you an entirely new set that can help expand your audience. Does it allow you to maintain the credibility needed to connect with that audience? Does it allow you to be true to yourself and be perceived as genuine so you can grow that connection? I find it hard to believe that someone who has spent $1800 on Knipex tools and posted several other videos praising German-made hand tools would be completely and utterly clueless that NWS makes those pliers for Klein to rebrand. It did seem odd when you compared those pliers to channel locks instead of Knipex. I guess one could know only one of the German brands, even though they are manufactured just a 26-minute drive from each other. It’s not like NWS has done this sort of thing before-oh wait, this month marks ten years since Irwin released their NWS line of pliers. Well, at least NWS pliers are inconspicuous and not easily distinguished from others-oh right, you can spot them a mile away. Forget that, at least you talked about how Klein hope took that hideously looking reversible jaw plier out back behind the shed and put a bullet in its teeth! No mention of that, huh? At some point, the influencer becomes the influenced, and once done, all the King’s horses, and all the King’s men won’t be able to put back the American electrician again. You’re better than this! Hang in there. You got time, you’ll figure it out.

I got a set of the solid and a set of hollow shaft nut drivers. For a perfect set I've put in my bag the solid 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8... and hollow 7/16, 1/2, and 9/16. There's not much magnet on the hollow small sizes so it doesn't hold screws and nuts very well. Plus I practically never need a hollow shaft for those sizes. I commonly need the bigger sizes to be hollow, plus the magnets are bigger so they work better.
@americanelectrician3 ай бұрын
That’s fantastic. I’m glad I ordered the other set then and I’ll do the same

Klein Tools has really outdone themselves with this lineup of new tools. The 9/1 hollow shafted magnetic pass-through nut driver and the 13/1 impact rated driver look particularly useful for a variety of tasks. Great content.
@michaelsalinas65493 ай бұрын
the hollow shaft nut driver set from klein comes with a ratcheting handle as well. they’re also color coordinated with a stripe instead of it being solid that’s how you can tell if they’re hollow shafted or not

You can also tell the difference because the hollow shafts are 50 bucks and the regular magnetic nut setters are $30 😂

@@americanelectrician Thanks for the answer. I am actually an electrician working as a transformer operation technician in the high voltage field in Turkey. I wanted to learn the time required for an electrician to work in America. While the system voltage in our country is 220V AC, 110V AC is used in America. I am talking about the certificate in terms of the adaptation program. I asked my question by translating it from Google Translate. If there is a part that is not understood, I apologize in advance.
@Troy-7213 ай бұрын
@@americanelectrician Frankly, according to what I researched on the internet, an electrician needs to have a certificate according to American law in order to work in America. Is there an organization that issues this certificate? If so, I was wondering about the duration of the training. I apologize if I bothered you with my questions.
