I prefer Cheesburger and the Cave Bear from Far Cry Primal. I hope they bring a mutant version of the Cave Bear back with glowing fur. On the hardest setting of FCPrimal I used the Cave Bear to give the killing blow for the boss (fire cult tribe). It was an epic moment. (you damage is severely reduced on the hardest mode) I was afraid to get killed and noticed the boss was just lying o the floor from the attack unable to get back up. The Cave Bear did all the work for me so I could concentrate on the army of respawning minions.

It would suck. As it is, the thing that makes Far Cry V feel most dated; is that it lacks something like Euphoria that Red Dead Redemption 2 has-it's what makes enemies react so believably to every gunshot. As lacking as the humans are, the animals are simple bullet sponges and feel completely last-gen because of it. And that, in a nutshell; is what your dinosaurs will be. Doom like enemies from 1994 that won't flinch, slow down or be affected by gunfire at all; till they're dead. You'll be very disappointed. They need to upgrade the engine in a big way, before something like that would be satisfying to play.

@@romansionis5051 Right, but mutants being locked in cages, a giant black man that shoots rays of miasma while you have sex with Citra, gunning down yeti's, arachnid aliens on mars being blasted by lasers, the nuking and survival in the aftermath of it, zombies, fighting a golden bird that summons ancient demons and blood dragons existence.... nah, that's all totally not jumping the shark. Primal was garbage, bad combat system, the ice age animals were legit just re-models of the animals from other games, they didn't even include any genuinely original ice age creatures with distinct rigs such as the Grounded Sloth, Doedicurus, etc Plus, Far Cry 3 had mentions of an island with the dinosaurs on it as quoted by Hoyt's privateers.

ELITOS Burritos I think this is a new game, but it is priced based on 2 things. 1) It is a continuation of the events Far Cry 5 post-nuclear. 2) It has no multiplayer. Beyond these, I am expecting a new story and side quests. New characters and things to do. New weapons and gear to use. If it was $60, then there would be probable reason for concern with revisiting an old location, but it is not; it’s $40. It also makes since to revisit this place, given the end of Far Cry 5.

I think it was id software (makers of the original and DOOM) and Avalanche (makers of the Just Cause series and the Mad Max game). I think those 2 together can come up with some crazy and fun gameplay scenarios. Combine id's great gunplay with the open world knowledge of Avalanche and it should be a great game.

I'm excited about this. I think the smaller price tag also relates to the fact that since the map is already made and not have to be created from the ground up, it translates to less production costs, passing the savings on to you. I do think the graphics and looks overall will be more polished by launch date.

I’m actually quite excited for New Dawn. Though my question is this: Is our character perhaps (though probably not likely) the Deputy who finally emerged from the bunker, 17 years later? Or maybe it’s just a Survivor who survived in one of the many bunkers. Or could be a Rouge Highwayman who joined the Survivors? If it is the Deputy then that would be a superb idea on Ubisoft’s part; because you could be playing as the Deputy and find these new Characters (like Carmina Rye) or find old friends (like Pastor Jerome (?) & Hurk) to then have a Moment of Happiness & remember how they use to be Brothers-in-arms, or with Carmina & Carmina meeting the Man/Woman who helped bring her Mother & Father to the Clinic & Nick/Kim talking well about the Deputy, even during this Post-Apocalypse & the fight between the Highwaymen + the two twin sisters/antagonists. If it isn’t then I just hope that they don’t just push the Deputy, Joseph, or the outcome of the two just into a Side Mission or just a couple of quotes said by random characters around the map/companions/NPCs in Prosperity or you find a couple of Notes from Joseph/Deputy in a random place in the map.

You find Dutch's body with bullets beside him. Then after you find the bunker and the remains a video pops up on an old TV and it's a message to you from Joseph saying that if you want to find him to go to a certain location. Only to find him freshly dead with a note saying that he's dead and to run. The mission turns out to be a secret ending where you join the sisters and completely changed the remaining missions and it becomes a whole new story line!

They need to upgrade the engine, and keep the mechanics-but upgrade them too, for it to feel fresh. For example, if they upgraded the peak and lean so it was in stages-like in Star Citizen or Rainbow Six Siege, instead of just popping out with your gun, had more enemies on screen [there are only enough with a few select outposts-always a weakness of Far Cry, bullet sponge enemies are a cheap feeling last-gen and very transparent bandaid to the problem] and had the Euphoria engine of Red Dead Redemption 2-so your enemies react believably to every hit and stumble realistically-even reaching out to grab things as they fall; Far Cry VI would be the best FPS ever made.

If you haven't played Far Cry Primal do check it out. It for me was the right move to give us spears and bow and arrow and clubs. It felt like every death was skill and being silent is rewarded a lot. Also exploring caves was amazing because they were complex and involving. The only thing is the environments all have a samish look to them.

I love this game and genuinely enjoyed it. You can make your weapons more powerful. But"upgrading" them but you can't customise them by adding anything. They come as they are. Totally love the double jump. You get the perk when you bring Joseph back. Once you got it, you don't want to be without it. When you play Far Cry 5 again, you have that home swert home feeling. But really miss that double jump.

These were the same problem I saw and noted in my review of Far Cry 5, how Ubisoft went from a great villain like Vaas and then to disappointing villain like Joseph I will never know. The story was definitely boring always stoping and starting only once you filled the meter was infuriating, I hope they don’t got with that method of story progression in New Dawn. Hopefully they have sorted all of the issues from Far Cry 5, my biggest worry though is that this will be exactly like Far Cry 5 will all the same issues just with different villain and story.

Actors Central vaas was great and I’d love another villain like him but I’d also like an improved protagonist. Jason Brody was a good start, ajay ghale was passible and a nameless, faceless, voiceless protag is just, no stakes, no investment. Like if this is just a job why can’t I just leave? Call in the national guard and such? There was little sense of actually being trapped or motivated. Or being a fish out of water which the protagonist should be.

You can upgrade and make weapons better instead of adding regular contemporary attachment, with RPG like mechanics. Im more excited than ever. The saw blade launcher went from a regular one, to having an engine put on it for more blades to launch and faster projectile speed. Hell yessss! This is something I've been looking for in a game, and finally happened!! I love Far Cry 5,second favorite in the series, but this can be something even more. If anyone can point me to other games that allow for weapon customization on a level like this or better, please tell me. I love this type of customization.
