I really wish that this was a full game instead of dlc. It just makes sense as of taking down NVA camps and taking down the Vietnam commanders. Problem would be the villain but far cry always knows how to make villains interesting. A far cry game in a war setting will be pretty sweet to play in.

@@rebeccacummings6697 if you still want an answer to your questions I got the season pass and I’ll give my opinion on the DLCs. For Hours of Darkness I rescued my whole platoon and did several side quests along the way. I’d say it was a good DLC but if I spent too long in it it might get repetitive. Lost on Mars was alright, I gave up on it after not too long. All the new stuff is cool but it just felt it was a lot more lacking of good environmental gameplay compared to Hours of Darkness. So would not recommend Lost on Mars at all really. I’m close to finishing Dead Living Zombies and I’ve found it to be in between the last two DLCs in quality. It is pretty fun and the variety of levels is actually quite well done. This DLC is more of an action game

This was definitely my favorite of the DLC's, may have even liked it more than the main game lol. The only issues I had were no fast travel (as I missed a lighter and had to hump it all the way back to near the beginning of the map to get it), and the other was more an aesthetic gripe, the South Vietnamese soldiers looked more like Georgia hillbillies ready to squeal, which was odd, considering the NVA looked proper. Also, sometimes the airstrikes wouldn't happen even though the AA guns were destroyed in that region.

hmm i dont know about the bow since you can find way more effective weapons fairly early on in the game such as the 1911 with a supressor which is accurate on quite some range and gives you a second chance if you should miss couse the time between each shot with the bow is long enough for the ai to spot you since they seem to be awefully aware of where you are the best gun you can get is the ms16 with a supressor or of course the 308 supressed which is on one of the little towers in an outpost but at the end of the day i cant really tell you what the best loadout is couse im on PC and i dont know if some weapons are better or worse on the consoles

1 thing you really need to know is it's only a hour long WITH the side missions, half hour without doing them. So do not buy it separately because they're going to want $10-15 for it and it is not nearly enough content to be worth that.

Darren C this is common for far cry dlc. They barely produce story dlc. It’s either fun extra content or just stupid dlc (like the yeti dlc and a Blood dragon). Just to let you know for the mars and zombies one if ur prepared to buy it

Darren C No problem, I hated the endings as well. I’m a bit about the Lost on mars dlc, you play as Nick Rye (ik, I thought it was Larry Parker) and he goes to mars after the bomb dropped. So it’s kinda story dlc but still stupidity.

well I will at least look out for the mars dlc. Considering the amount of nuclear fallout bunkers dotted around, i was not surprised that somebody survived. It gave me some hope after the dreadful ending, I mean you spent all the time to save everyone (just as jospeh was doing), you had a gun, he had a gun, what was the difference at the end? i mean either ending meant the end of your companions. So it was a small consolation to know that some would have survived the nuclear option, simply because of sheer amount of doomsday bunkers!

Darren C I at least expected a bad ending where you kill Joseph and yet someone bad would happen or arrest him and still something bad will happen (kinda like the bad ending but a far better execution). I’m not really mad that a nuke will drop, I’m just not impressed on the execution and the choices. There should atleast be an ending where you were to arrest Joseph just to have a one on one talk with him and then a choice to let him go. I’m just not impressed with the execution of the ending. (I’m still convinced that there is another secret ending but I’m pretty sure that’s not the case).
