What you call "life" I call "crowds". I think Greece in winter would be ideal for me, then I would leave when tourists come flooding in. I wonder if there are opportunities for housesitting in holiday homes that sit empty in the off season in Kalamata?
@GreeceExplored4 күн бұрын
There are. Lot of firms that offer that sort of service, I guess perhaps some of the larger villas would favour permanent residents, in the off season.

What about weather first week of November?
@GreeceExplored2 ай бұрын
It should be ok, low 20's typically. You run the risk of a few showers, cloudy days but is good right now. A great time of year for exploring, plus all the sites are half price from November to March.

Surprised to see the lack of graffiti considering how ubiquitous it is in Greece but are the shopping options even better than Patras?
@GreeceExplored9 ай бұрын
I think the shopping is a good as Patras, I prefer it because I find it easier to navigate, and as you say, they look after the place.

How is the weather there in mid November?
@GreeceExplored2 ай бұрын
Variable, you take some risk, some days sunny and low 20's others cloudy and perhaps some rain, but great time to visit, cheaper hotels etc.

@@GreeceExplored thanks for the response. It's actually for an educational purpose. We are a research team from Germany and planning a 5-7 days field work in Kalamata. So rainy or cloudy days might cause some interruption.

comparing to Germany, it's still summer in November, you can still go for a swim, winter usually comes 1-2 weeks before Christmas 😃

Hi mate, I recently came across ur channel and I love the idea of showcasing History of Greece through these vlogs. I am a travel-niched video editor from India and want to work with you as an editor. I have emailed you few weeks back but u didn't reply. Let's discuss how we can improve your channel's growth over a quick chat/call!
