Montreal is gonna be active this summer. We have way to many young D man, so some of them are gonna be traded + we have alot of picks. And the last two drafts we have traded for young players (dach and newhook) so necas, zegras, rossi would be very interesting

As a B’s fan I really loved the Boston-Montreal rivalry growing up. The NHL is so much better with a good Montreal team not the pathetic team we’ve seen on the ice the past few years.

I agree about wild trading rossi cause I feel like he can be that staple centerman for them but I read a source about the wild why they might trade rossi. It's not that he's bad, he's great player for the future, but sources say his accessibility for the team's usage is limited and maybe overshadowed like guys upcoming the big name I saw was yurov and some other players. We'll see they may keep him they might we'll see what happens

What's the size of some of these if not all. Montréal is said will go hunting this summer either for a UFA or two or perhaps a trade. Another pint sized fellow is the LAST thing that is needed here. Already have 5 or 6 in the starting line up. That's more than enough.

Marner to Hawks would be awesome. Also Necas. I know the Hawks aren't exactly a destination at this point in the rebuild but they have the picks, salary space, and even prospects to make a real jump. They are going to be good in a short time and Marner would be a great fit for that team. The Hawks need some size and sandpaper to their game and thats not exactly Mitchell's game, but he doesn't get enough credit for his defensive play. He's not a liability.

Pass on Marner to the Blackhawks. Last thing they need is a player approaching 30 y.o. for $11 million who is a chronic under-performer during the playoffs. Martin Necas, however, would be a stellar addition and the Chicago Blackhawks have both high draft picks in 2024-2026 and several NHL-ready prospects (Lukas Reichel, Nolan Allen, Ryan Greene, etc) to put a reasonable trade package together

Great Video, as usual, Mike. I don't think that Mitch Marner is going anywhere, for, at the very least, right now. I think that the Craig Berube hiring makes it a likelihood that they'll try to see what he does/thinks about the future of The Core Four. I think that, if they're ultimately going to trade him, it'll be A Trade Deadline thing, if he gives the OK & waives his NMC. Let me know what you think.

Marner is as good as gone. His management camp will be pursuing an 8 year deal and if Toronto doesnt' want to pay him what he thinks he's worth during next season, he'll need to move onto a new team that wants him and is willing to give him the full package he'll be seeking. Plus Leaf fans are going to make his life miserable and Larry Murphy him out of town.

Drai will cost 13 mill /year. If Oil could get three top young players just signed to 4 to 5 mill long term contracts, I’d say do it. Oil have an old team without many nhl ready prospects. This could significantly help the team. Question is, would McD take a walk in two years.

Boston is NOT trading Carlo. Or really anyone on their current D-core. This D-core (And Swayman) is what carried them to the first round win and pushing the Panthers to 6 games. We have one of the best goal tending trade chips on the market as well as $20+M in cap space to entice forwards to our team. It would be asinine to break up that D-core now.

Why would Marner ever waive for Columbus? That place is a graveyard for star players. Marner's agent is known for having his guys wait till free agency to test the market. Markstrom makes way to much money for a cap strapped team, he is also way to old.

(Buch prob can get 10Mil wich is alteady a disscount to over paid marner) 4. Markstrom for Holtz 3rd and Marino. (I think Montour can be a great fit in Nj Behind Hamilton or jsut splitting time with him.... Hughes and Simec need help and shouldnt be playing togather and prob should max out at 20min a night.... look at what CAR did with orlov on an already stacked d line... helps out to that hughes and nemec not getting paid yet.. 5. Last one, Ehlers for 1st and Some prospect or 2 from Buffalo...
