This is my childhood. When I was 6 years old, I saw this trailer and I said to my parents I want to see this so badly. The following year, two months before my birthday, I finally got to saw it when it was released in theaters. Granted, I was scared but fascinated. This movie shaped my morbid appreciation of grim story telling and monster/robotic design. I love this movie. Even when I'm getting close to 18, I don't think it'll be a movie I'll ever get sick of.

Don't get me wrong, it was a good movie, but it didn't exactly live up to its expectations. This movie could have been amazing, but it just wasn't used to its full ability. With names like Tim Burton and Elijah Wood, I would have thought this was a bigger movie. It did have awesome fight scenes and the amount of creativity this movie has is amazing. I would recommend it to my friends, but not that they get their hopes up too high on the character depth and such.

This epic af movie trailer was basically my first introduction to Coheed and Cambria before I even knew them as a band today. I never looked them up until high school and then this song and No World For Tomorrow became the first times I ever heard Coheed and Cambria. Then after graduation, I believe those songs faded from memory. When I started college before dropping out, I rediscovered them by listening to In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 and A Favor House Atlantic. Flash forward to the time between 2019-2021, I began listening to Delirium Trigger, God Send Conspirator, Everything Evil and Time Consumer. Eventually, I bought the whole album of SSTB. Before moving back down to Texas, I eventually bought the entire IKSSE:3, The Afterman, Good Apollo I’m Burning Star IV: Volume 1 and then GAIBS IV: Volume 2 (No World For Tomorrow) in full. After moving back to Texas, I then proceeded to obtain Year of the Black Rainbow and both acts of Vaxis so far. And it’s all because of this damn movie trailer from watching that Coraline DVD at my dad’s house lol.

@@felwalker905 I remember seeing this trailer before Coraline in theaters and on the DVD and knew I wanted to see this. And this was the first PG-13 animated film I saw in theaters. Big moment for a ten year old.
