Did you know Isa that I have atypical SAD: I actually really struggle during spring/summer and thrive in the fall/winter!

I have heard of people experiencing that before. The mind truly does work in mysterious ways. I hope you are able to find something that helps. ♡

@@venereveritas aww 🥰 thank you. The truth is white everyone is girding their loins to survive winter, I can hardly wait for it. I’m in my element but I just made through a difficult summer. I hope you all have coping mechanisms and things that make you happy! 💚💪🏻

I have a similar list for when I’m stuck in the depression spiral! It’s all very basic things that are easy to do and I almost always feel better. Things like as simple as turning on the light in the room you’re in, sitting outside for five minutes if you can, taking a shower, changing out of the clothes I’ve lived and slept in for two days….i start small and before I know it I feel alive again and capable of taking care of the bigger items like chores or work

I so agree with a mini spa day. Always lifts me up. Between my anxiety, depression and add, this list is suuuuuper helpful. A lot of things I will try.

My husband doesn't understand he thinks im just making it up. But i honestly struggle with this every year. I was born in a warm country and have brown skin. My doctor prescribes me the highest possible vitamin D but my body doesn't absorb it.

I’m so sorry he’s not taking you seriously 💔 I hope this isn’t his usual behaviour. I’m very pale so I get enough vitamin D but even I struggle a lot because I moved from a warm country to a cold country. It must be so much harder when you don’t have enough vitamin D!
