I need this treatment. Inner ear issues started after a severe whiplash injury in 2001. They progressively got worse with a diagnosis of Menieres in 2009. I did do some NUCCA chiropractic and my axis vertabrae was on crooked. That was adjusted but it did not help my ear much. I just went to the dentist to have a crown put in and my mouth was cranked up for an hour or so. Guess what, my hearing went out on my left ear a few days later with Menieres symptoms. I don’t get vertigo anymore thank God but have the other issues. Fluctuating hearing, tinnitus, feeling of fullness etc. I used to have jaw popping. It’s worth looking into. This condition is a nightmare!

This is very interesting. I have similar symptoms except the headaches. About 30 days ago I had an acute onset hearing loss in my R ear, roaring tinnitus, fullness of ears that has "thus far" been diagnosed as "early onset Meniere's Disease" -- I had the MRI and no cancer/cyst in/near the cochlear. I have no vertigo and no headaches at all. I am getting some "fullness" in my left ear the past few weeks. A week prior to the acute hearing loss I had neck pain, especially around the base of my skull (so occipital bone area) and under my ears and behind my jawbone comes to the ear. I had an MRI for my neck and showed disc bulge at C3-C4 and some degeneration at C4-C5, C5-C6, & C6-C7. I had a prior disectomy and foraminotomy Dec 2021 at C6-C7. - Sep/Oct - began using Jawzrsize to hopefully help jawline (yes, vane), did notice jaw would get "stuck" sometimes at fully open - started to notice some TMJ like "catching" more on occasion - Lots of life stress (divorce), didn't notice teeth grinding, but often toss/turning only sleeping 3-5 hours a night - Got a dry cough (viral?), rather powerful (hard) coughing -- lasted 8 weeks - Lymphatics swollen - Nov - Nov 21st, Neck pain, a lot of pain at base of skull/TMJ like joint area - Nov 26th, noticed slightly blurry vision - Nov 27th: sudden onset hearing loss in my R ear, roaring tinnitus, fullness of ear I see you're on Oregon. I had the Labythithtomy done on the right ear .It did stop the dizziness, At least I wasn't on the floor any more and stopped me from throwing up .I was like this for 5 years before I had the Labythithtomy. Now it's going into my other ear and now I get cortisone shots now in the left ear ..

Very happy to have found your channel. I normally work as a dental assistant. In Navy also I did this Also unfortunately for me I’ve been diagnosed with Ménière’s disease. I am always questioning diagnoses. Is it correct. I know everything is connected in our bodies and relates to each other. I’ve been suffering enough to do my own research probably like most of your patients. So happy to have found a dentist who’s linking Ménière’s to TMD, because I have that also. Dental visits are rough because I can’t keep my mouth open for long and it’s extremely painful. Meniere's is caused by a twisted body from repetitive movements done too extreme. The neck is in a chronically twisted postiion....which pulls the ear mechanisms out of their alignment chronically. I am writing a book which will be out soon...and will explain how to get the twist out of the body.

I’m so happy! I feel like she’s felt before. I feel like what’s the point of living if I have to live like this. It’s debilitating and I have no control. I have 5 children and one is a 1 year old who is very busy. My oldest son had to miss school one day to help me with the baby because I was alone. The spinning is unreal and the timing and tunnel sound. I have like a stereo trying to tune in my right ear. I am so happy for her. I feel like I will have these great results one day. I had ear infections in both my ears while in Florida in 89. After words my ears would itch none stop! To the point of driving me insane😩 So I started using Q Tips to itch my ears. In 97 I had my first episode of vertigo at a Payless drugstore. Then in 2000 I started having drop attacks. Then it went away for years. Just itchy ears. Well in 2017 I had a severe attack that caused nausea and vomiting and ever since then if I eat to much sodium or carbs, all bets are off!!! I'm coming off two attacks now. To afraid to eat. This disease is miserable to say the least. And it seems more and more are getting it?!

When I was born , My ob gyne held my forehead temple with forceps while his other hand held my jaw and at the same time pulled me out of my mother's womb . I have misaligned jaw since then . One morning I woke up, bad tinnitus on both ears, clogged ears , hyperacusis, and at one point I got dizzy for a couple hours (drunk feeling) not spinning. No headaches, no spinning, no throwing up. My hearing test on right side is normal, my hearing test on left looks like a mountain. I am suffering of vision induced dizziness, when I go to supermarket or walk through Manhattan. Does this count as vertigo??? My ent says Meniers disease but I don't know....the clogged ears is leaving feeling better after 2 months..hyper acousis has gotten better but my visually induced dizziness is still there but it's not for hours like in MD, it's more like a cause and effects thing ...when I see too much detail it kicks in. I just don't feel like it's MD, and my ENT sucks...I feel like I have an opportunity to treat my problem and if I don't I may have damage😢

I was diagnosed with TMJ, which is causing symptoms that are very similar to MD. Its scary! The hearing in my right ear is constantly low and it only regulates whenever I swallow or yawn. I've been told its etd caused from not having a proper bite on the right side of my mouth, but I can't help but keep thinking its MD because the pressure in a car gets SO bad and I hate it. I'm currently treating my TMJ with invisalign as well as chiropractics, but it just seems like my hearing is taking forever to get back to normal. Its been so depressing. Could it be possible to have both TMJ and Menniers?

First ENT (2 years ago) said Meniere’s. I saw a different ENT, last month, said I didn’t b/c my hearing is excellent. He diagnosed me with Migrainous Vertigo also know as Vestibular Migraines…. 🤷‍♀️ (Symptoms: ringing in the both ears- all the time, spells of being light headed, dizzy (sometimes with nausea) foggy head, and often have headaches and or migraines. Sounds crazy but I’m almost use to it now. I go on with life but would be nice for it to go away or at least get a little better. 😊

I was diagnosed having Menieres earlier this year. I had ear pressure on both ears, sounded like being in a tunnel, then it finally settled in my right ear. My hearing tests have all come back normal, but I have an aural fullness in my right ear that I can only explain as increasing and decreasing, and like her, I too can hear my own heart beating or I can hear my eyeballs move. I don’t have constant ringing in ears, it’s just random for those quick 5 seconds and goes. I also have the right sided neck pain. At the same time, I wear braces, so I am not sure if I am misdiagnosed because I really just have an aural fullness that increases and decreases. Could this help??

I was diagnosed as having vestibular neuritis/labrynthitis. It started with a severe case of Vertigo, then a drunk unsteady feeling off and on and here I am 5 years later and still same sensation. Some days worse then others, weather changes effect it too. I also in the last 3 years have tinnitus a high pitch whistle in my right ear that comes and goes but mostly stays. I recently had some teeth crowned and my bite seems ok, im not clenching that I know of. Can this procedure help me??

it is possible that it could. The first step would be to have a consult and let me T-Scan you, then we could see what the data is. I am not too concerned about what anyone gets diagnosed with. I have a whole list of diagnoses that patients have come in with, where this has helped. I think there are even more diagnoses that are out there we dont even know about.

​@@DrBenSutterEugene I have a friend who has this problem. He has only been to an ENT one time. After his diagnosis, COVID prevented him from following up... Another thing that has affected him from follow up was him having to leave his job because of the illness... which affected him from having insurance. A year and a half ago, his wife committed suicide, leaving him to raise his eight year old son on his own. His life has been turned upside down every since... He has had no desire to take care of this problem... and has accepted that there isn't anything he can do for it.. since the ENT told him this. From what I have been learning, there are things that can be done. I think the ringing in his ears, along with the vertigo may add on to him feeling overwhelmed with everything. He is 52 years old.. he is limited with being able to do things with his son because of this. His son was by his side when they found the mom/wife.. an image that has been affecting both of them. He, (the dad) is suffering from PTSD from the way they found her..i do not want to go into too much detail of this.. out of respect for him.. however, it was a very horrible way to have discovered a loved one.. They live in the country and they do not do much...due to his illness... I decided to push him to focus on this... for him, but most importantly, for his son, who is about to enter the 5th grade. I have been researching whatever I can. We live in Indiana and are willing to travel. Now, I am wondering if his diagnosis is right.. I found an at home research study that I signed him up for. Not sure what will come from that, if anything. I don't know where you are located... but we are open to travel..if you would be willing to see him.. it would be so greatly appreciated. 🙏. If not, I need any guidance I can get from anyone.. along with any recommendations of a doctor. He now has insurance, but it probably only covers doctors in Indiana... Not sure tho. His symptoms are...the vertigo, a constant ringing in his ears as well as a fullness feel in them, and his balance. I'm wondering if mine is caused by TMD..I have your symptoms but I have been diagnosed with vestibular migraine. I had an MRI, CT of the inner ear, several other audiology tests. I have sensorineural hearing loss in both ears, tinnitus in right ear, head roar, vertigo, balance issues, neck pain, face pain ...my neck pain is just like hers...I have the most trouble with my neck when I trying to go to sleep...like this person I have to arrange my pillow..I often resort to pain killers for the neck pain... ... I am wearing a night guard for bruxism and I was told my bite is off by my dental hygienist.

I have been getting dizzy spells on and off, but about two weeks ago I woke up in the morning with my head spinning, every time I got up for 9 hours I got sick. It was a complete nightmare. I had a similar bite adjustment to the ones you provide but probably not as precise a few years back. I’ve also worn splints and had braces. I do clench and the area around the TMJ’s are currently sore as I write this message.

Depends. You could get the wisdom tooth removed before DTR, but I would need to see which teeth are missing to answer the candidate question
