From their first episode I got the feeling that Corona was serious she thought she had found her soul mate. Ingi gave off a vibe that this was not really a serious relationship to him. Not making excuses here however, I notice that my family from Europe will use the term "joke" when they mean "for fun".... Maybe Ingi said something like "We decided to go on the show just for fun".... verses "As a joke".... I can see couples deciding to do the show for fun, versus "as a joke".... as a joke feels like it was a lie to trick viewers (like Debbie/Ruben did), but for fun, feels like they are adding to the relationship by trying a TV show. I'm not icelandic but scandinavian anyway, and his behavior is completely normal for a scandinavian person. We are not over-showing our emotions (just Google Kimi Räikkönen interview clips lol) but that doesn't mean we don't feel them.
