First clip: late Nov 2023 2nd clip: late Dec 2023. The day I decided I would commit to learning this skill. 3rd clip: January 16th 2024 Looking forward to holding the bent arm planche at the bottom, then eventually pushing back up! How long till I can push back up? (I can already do multiple floor handstand push-ups)

@@HVO2024 that's not entirely true though is it. People who are differently abled, or have certain conditions won't be able to. I should know, i'm one of them. Why not just recognise the hard work, determination and talent it takes in combination with a body free of physical ailments and not bash out a rather negative and frankly passive aggressive response?

Anyone who puts in the effort and determination just like you said can do this.... perhaps not as precise but to the best of the persons ability.... stop making excuses... period.
@rassm32298 ай бұрын
@@HVO2024 some super binary thinking there. There's a difference betweeen "excuses" as you call them and "reasons" as anyone possessing a modicum of empathy and lived experience will detail. Someone with injuries to their arms will not be able to perform this "to the best of their ability", in fact to attempt to do so would only lead to injury. I'm guessing you are perhaps young and as such feel indestructable. Live enough years on this earth and you will age, and most likely suffer injury and disease. I hope not, for your sake and your family. You could use some humility, if not outright humbling

PHENOMENAL strength and control. If you've never been able to at least seriously attempt this kind of thing, you can't imagine how hard it actually is. BUT traditionally that's a planch, not an iron cross. Not saying it's easier, but that's what it's called.
@RandomAxeOfKindness8 ай бұрын
I misunderstood -- didn't realize the Iron Cross bit was a separate video. But, yeah, that push-up position with your feet cantilevered off the ground is a low planch. It's 'low' because your arms are bent. If you can straighten your arms and stay balanced and roughly horizontal, that's a high planch.
